Apparently, network TV is such a powerful drug that some people – left wing mouthpiece Kirsten Powers, to be specific – will do it even if they know absolutely nothing about the subject to be discussed and know that the result of their appearance will be complete personal humiliation.
In this clip, the hot Fox host slaps around left-wing pundit Kirsten Powers in a one-sided discussion of the Black Panther voter intimidation case.
Ace called it “the greatest ten minutes of television, ever”, but that’s an exaggeration. It’s only 9:55.

I noticed that Kristen didn't appear on Fox News Watch this weekend.
Yelling over somebody and barely letting them finish a sentence is not considering "slap[ping]" them around. Megyn Kelly lacks the facts to have a normal debate with anybody and she just focuses on spouting GOP propaganda to push her far-right agenda. She's a blind partisan who tries to pretend she's fair, and she buys lies and myths from the likes of J. Christian Adams, who is not a "whistleblower" of any kinda... he's a conservative activist pushing misinformation. Period, end of story.
Actually she is ALWAYS very careful to avoid defining her political influences AND a lot of commentary is pretty balanced. She had ALL the facts it was the other woman that didn't know one thing about the story.
Just one request to ProgLib - kindly prove your "rebuttal" with independently verifiable facts, please. Then, who knows, someone might actually listen to you and agree. Maybe. Ya never know until you try.

No no - I hope Megyn stays on Fox for a long time. If she runs for office we won't get to see her as often. Fox News must have a lab where they raise all these brainy, nice looking women to host their shows. I want to visit that lab!!
Megyn Kelly is just too darn smart and articulate for her current gig, although it's fun to watch her in a smack down an unarmed progressive, I sure hope she runs for office at some point.
I love watching Kelly go after O'Reilly on his show as well. She does'nt pull punches there either. I would not want to have Kelly's wrath aimed at me, not in this lifetime.
Yes that is why I like her. O'Reilly to a lesser person can seem intimidating, but she doesn't give a finger that he is older than her and has more fame or whatever. She treats him as an equal and he in all reality has been forced to treat her as an equal as well. I am sure that if he is fair he does respect her.

There is really nothing extraordinary about that. It is hard to be a conservative/traditional/center-right woman in this world, it takes passion and it takes tough skin AND knowledge.
The problem here is that Kirsten didn't see ANYTHING wrong with the behavior the NBP exhibited NOR was there anything wrong with the slap of the hand that was done AFTER a legitimate injunction was placed already. Then the freaking case was dropped when there IS EVIDENCE that cannot be changed or swept under the rug that something illegal happened. People are (legitimately) hysterical over a black man being present at a voting station? Dear he had a baton, he was menacing, he was with at least one other guy who wore the same garb and attitude. People DID complain. If they were white with white hoods and a rope on their hands in a primordially black neighborhood the (legitimate) hysterics would be coming from you, the moment you realize they got hand slapped. This little girl then, at the realization that there is more to this case, than she originally cared to investigate, her argument is that Bush did worst (or the same but it is considered worse because he is a Republican) as if that trumps whatever the DOJ did now on this case. This of course makes her an idiot.
Not defending Bush if he or his administration at the DOJ did things they shouldn't have, shame on them. It seems that these outrages FOR SOME STRANGE REASON though weren't that well know. It is extraordinary as ANYTHING horrible and evil that Bush did got BIG and long standing headlines and mentions in the media. In any case, whatever Bush did wrong if he did wrong, but that doesn't excuse what the DOJ is doing now.

You got that right KQ. One of my colleagues is a marxist, socialist, liberal, lefty. We get into shout fests all the time. (just not in front of patients, one doctor finds it very funny) I love it when he tells me that I "don't know my history", " don't know what you're talking about", oh and my favorite, "you're uneducated". But let me throw any one of those back at him and you'd think I just did something unforgivable.
The thing is to know the truth and to be able to speak to it effectively. Even if the idiot you are arguing with (Glenn Beck helps out with this a lot) goes away thinking you are stupid, at least the seed has been planted. If he or she is not as idiotic as one thinks he or she will wake up at one point or another. It is the idiots who see the truth but would rather avoid it that make it the hardest for one.
