McDonald's missed a terrific opportunity to really rub Nanny's nose in it. Instead of this, they should sell the toy for $2.99 and give you the food for free!
Like a motorcycle swap meet I went to once. A guy was selling rusty nuts and bolts for $1.50 and giving away a free can of beer with each purchase! Got around the liquor license law that way.
SF government cost and time to develop develop nanny state law, $7.5 million dollars and 9 months.
McDonalds cost and time frame to develop counter move to nanny state law, $100,000 and two weeks.
Damn! Now those kids will be getting fatter from eating those toys!
