I understand that she didn't like him bashing their news station and avoiding her questions. She however orders his mic cut and ends it when he - actually answers her question. Not a very good journalist. I would have asked her if she even was one. Glad we just get CNN and BBC. That station is just a joke.
Letterman, apparently, made a bad joke which he later apologized for. The woman had every right to be offended by a bad joke. Just as much as letterman had the right to tell it. However, Contessa Brewer refutes the right for her to be offended just as she refutes this man's right to say anything other than what she wants him to? Seems to me MSNBC is where free speech ends. No wonder when I visit America - BBC is always one of the more expensive channels to watch.

JPT, I said nothing about mental retardation being an awful thing. I ripped Bristol's sluthood, but that sluthood is a direct reflection on the mother who raised her. I also pointed out how dishonest Sweet Sarah is, by trying to protect her false image as a family values paragon and all around good Mom by claiming and raising a child that is not hers. Upon further reflection, disregard any negative effects Sarah's raising her kids may have had. After all, they probably turned out screwed up because Sarah didn't raise them, but pawned them off on someone else (unless she was using them as a campaign prop, i.e., "How dare they boo Piper!" They didn't. They booed YOU, you moron).

Actually, this is true. My best friend's mother used to work with Contessa, and it was known around the studio that Contessa and a female co-worker used to go for long lunch "dates" that included frequent same-stall bathroom trips.
