The mystery, the real, honest-to-god mystery, is why conservatives bother going on MSNBC. It’s not a lot of them ever get invited to guest on cable TV’s answer to the Titanic, but some do.
J.P. Freire, editor of the Washington Examiner, learned his lesson the hard way on Monday when he guested with hothead MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan and had the temerity to expect to be treated as well as Ratigan’s liberal guest.

I say leave Dylan Ratigan on TV for as long as they will have him there. He is the perfect example of what stupid and egotistical is on the left.

What a buffoon and MSNBC you guys are doing a great job keeping him on the air because he explains better to the American people who the left really is than just about anyone and your ratings show how much we dislike him. Guessing that MSNBC has not chastised nor penalized Ratigan for this behavior, nor that he apologized, NEXT time MSNBC or any person who praises MSNBC talks about how Fox is not fair nor balanced they can present this clip and say that Ratigan was not chastised for this nor did he apologize for this behavior. This is blatant bias. Why the attempt at bringing a conservative to his show in any case, if he doesn't want the conservative to talk? Jerk of the worst kind.

KQ, why would his bosses penalize him? Ratigan is doing exactly what he is being paid to do, be an obnoxious tool. He might need to get ratings at some point, but he's doing what he's supposed to as far as his bosses are concerned.

Dilan's mommie and daddie must be so proud,....Fox News returned to their usual spot as a top three cable network last week after a one-week hiatus during the July 4 vacation. Meanwhile the cable news competition was stuck 28th and lower. MSNBC finished 28th, CNN 33rd and HLN 37th. It was a slightly better finish for each of these networks from the holiday week before.
When will the share holders of the failing media outlets demand change.....? ? ? Can you just imagine the ratings boost and the ad revenue increase that a CBS or NBC or ABC would get if the were to hire a Rush or Glen or Sean or Mark to anchor the nightly news,....their stock prices would climb as well. But it is not about money with them, it is about control and power, and to hell with the share holders,....

Did the host really just claim that he might invite a a conservative on his show and not ever speak to him...I think this video proves once and for all that MSNBC is not interested in diferent views, they are putting on a front...I am sure later down the road they will bring up that they are fair and unbiased by claiming they have conservatives on their show all the time...thats when we replay this clip for them...:D

Tell me why THIS genetic defective gets any air time. Ratigan is a very poor host at a network with no standards, or viewers.
1) I guess MSNBC doesn't pay their anchors enough money to buy clothes that fit?
2) This clip should be used as a training film for the GOP. Don't pander to them by showing up and trying to make sense.
3) A perfect demonstration why I don't watch the media for news - ANY of them. I'm sick to death of the shouting matches, even at Fox. This practice may get viewers, but it's distracting and boring. It could be easily stopped, but the media must think it helps drive ratings. It's no wonder our society becomes more rude day by day.
