Ugly, bitter and angry. Those words describe the battle between Hooters and NOW and, if we’re not mistaken, they also describe the women of NOW.
SFGate.com has the details:
The National Organization for Women filed complaints against local Hooters restaurants Thursday, but not for exploiting its scantily clad waitresses by subjecting them to leering and groping customers.
The subject this time was Hooters’ catering to children.
The restaurants in San Francisco, San Bruno, Sacramento and Orange County are classified as “adult entertainment” establishments but also serve minors, NOW’s California chapter said in papers filed with police and prosecutors.
What’s more, the organization said, Hooters provides child menus, high chairs and booster seats, and sells T-shirts in children’s sizes that identify the wearer as a “Future Hooters Girl.”
Don’t you suspect that if Hooters didn’t provide child menus, high chairs and booster seats some other liberal organization would accuse them of discriminating against children?
The way we understand this story, NOW is only a proponent of choice if that choice involves aborting a baby. But if parents should make the mistake of actually having that child, the same organization will then deny them their choice of restaurants.
Is that correct?

Some women just hate other women because they are hot... it is what it is I guess... People cannot help it if one has something that the other doesn't have. Don't hate just call a good plastic surgeon I say.

I'm not what you would call an "Official" hooters expert...but i do believe that these women choose their line of work. if they didn't like working there, they wouldn't work there.

, all of our women are fat ugly hogs who only got pregnant because we slipped from the fat roll by accident and they all have boobs that are so gross that even their own children wouldn't want to see a second time. So yeah, we admit, these Hooter women are too hot and they make our dogs feel inferior ... and the children our homely women didn't murder after they became more than just a clump of cells simply shouldn't see beautiful girls or be served delicious food - because we're against both of those!
If NOW is really serious about keeping children away from scantily clad women they should work to ban kids from beaches and swimming pools.
The women of NOW are like the San Francisco lefties who banned prizes in Happy Meals. They don't care about children, what motivates them in is control. Controlling and regulating people whose decisions they don't approve by reducing their choices (the only "choice" they approve is abortion).

I’m on a cruise ship. It‘s late at night.
Suddenly - the sirens sound, "ABANDON SHIP!"
Due to cost saving measures by the cut-rate cruise line there is a shortage of life boats. We begin the call "women and children first".
All the children are safely loaded.
All of the woman go next.
We get down to the last available seat, on the last available life boat. The last woman on board the cruise ship steps up, and starts to climb over the rail, when I recognize the tree trunk calf of Ms. Gloria Steinem, staunch women’s lib advocate.
I grab her forearm to halt her progress over the side, look her dead in the eye and say "Not so fast, bitch.”
Hooters probably isn't the best place to take children, but then WTH neither are a lot of places. So is this the next generation of "choice" issues we are to expect from a largely discredited, bitter old ladies organization.
