We look forward to the day when the line charting President Obama’s approval rating crosses the line charting the unemployment rate. And at the rate we’re going, that day isn’t too far off.
The Los Angeles Times reports on Obama’s latest Gallup disaster:
It could be gas prices, the budget debate, or simply the usual ups and downs of public opinion polling. But President Obama’s approval rating has dipped to a five-month low in Gallup’s daily tracking poll, reverting to post-midterm election lows.
… Obama’s low approval rating is not the result of the major speech he delivered on Wednesday. Some of the polling took place before he delivered the speech. Rather, a Gallup official believes the results reflect broad public dissatisfaction with the economy.
Forget the obesity epidemic we supposedly have in this country. If 41% still think this guy’s doing a good job, what we have is a stupidity epidemic.

A few questions for the swami, Mr. Administrator, or anyone else that can answer them. How does Gallup, Rasmussen, Zogby, any of these "polling" people, decide who to call for answers to their questions? They have never called me or anyone I know.
Who is so foolish as to belive a poll of 1000 "likely voters" means anything when we have over 10 million voters, according to the numbers when the Obummer was elected? I don't think much of their numbers, they are not asking enough real, yes I did voters what they think now.
When are we going to see a poll of 1 million voters, not likely voters, so we peons can get a more realistic picture of what people think about any politician? When I see one I might think the pollsters are trying to get a real opinion instead of a percieved one.
Obama has a 41% approval rating? Bullshit. Don't come to the vast, rural spaces of the southwest and spout that nonsense. His approval rating might match that of Congress but I doubt it. Come on down Gallup people! Do a real poll where the common man lives!

No, no, it's just me being overly sarcastic and cynical. The pollsters never call me anymore because they already know what I'll say. I answered a telephone poll some several years ago and the liberal chick on the other end of the conversation was trying to lead my responses by the types of questions she kept asking me. We finally agreed to disagree, she hung up and I went back to drinking my beer. I'm sure she was glad to get off the phone anyway. I made her work her little marxist-socialist ass off for every stupid question she asked me, and believe me, I could tell she didn't like or even agree with most of my answers. I don't think you can just ask a small sampling of people questions and 'project' your findings upon a larger canvas of the population. In theory, it might be possible, but I tend to believe that the so called science of sociology is less about science and more about smoke and mirrors, but then that's just me.
They had that one poll that was totally skewed libral... they only asked like 537 people. Where do they get a crackpot number like 537 and decide that that is enough for a accurate poll? That is that fuzzy math for you!
Yeah, I had a census worker call me to ask me my color (even though I filled it out in time and all), I told him I was American, we argued for 20 minutes. He probably changed my answer but to what I'm not sure cause I don't have a color I am a US citizen and thats all that matters. Call me green cause thats all the government takes from me is my green.
I filled out American, too. My cousin had someone visit him the last census and ask him his ethnicity, cause he put American back then, too. The police had to be called on the census worker who insisted that American wasn't an answer they could accept. He said that was funny since he was born and raised in America, and followed American culture and social norms... How can that not be an accepted answer...

We'll stay in our comfortable offices and make twenty phone calls to people we've talked to before and call it a hundred and stack the numbers; a little number crunch here, a little number crunch there, and voi la, an opinion poll is born! Folks once thought in great numbers that Obama had a vision for America. Slowly they are coming to realize that vision is known as "North Korea."
Obama's approval rating will plummet to 12% once gas prices hit $5.00 a gallon and inflation really kicks in this summer. He's clueless and we're paying the price of his incompetency.

I don't ever recall the Times or any other libtard media outlet saying that George W. Bush's low poll numbers were caused by "the usual ups and downs of public opinion polling". I'd bet the rent that the Demtards at the LA Times hated printing this story.
