Consider this a textbook case of cause and effect.
The cause: Conservative Arizona passes its new anti-illegal alien law.
The effect: Said same illegal aliens immediately pack their bags and move next door to liberal New Mexico.
Surely, the good people of New Mexico, lead by liberal Governor Bill Richardson, will put out the welcome mat at the Arizona border and greet their newest residents at the state line with champagne, confetti and welfare checks.

It seems that it is true that the law even though it wasn't yet in effect was working.
Watch as gang activity, kidnappings, murders, etc become lower and surpluses (money) increases in AZ and gang activity, etc goes up and economic deficits goes up as well.
If NM citizens care about their own safety and about the money that would double and triple in spending they WILL ask their governor and senators to do something about it.
Notice the "newscaster" claimed the Arizona law would allow police to question citizenship without other factors which is WRONG! The bastards just cannot read and comprehend the law. All they can do is WHINE..........
I wish it was the case that they cannot comprehend - I think in this case it is willful. They refuse to accurately report this law because it does make sense, it is fair, and as evidenced here, even before it is enforced it is working.
Great news, and the NM chapters of La Raza I bet are busily working on their welcome wagon care packages with a granola bar, bottle of water, compass and a map with directions to Texas. Think the artists in Santa Fe and Taos are eagerly anticipating the lower wages and overcrowded housing?
I love the comment that some of the illegals planning to move may not have contacted authorities yet!!!!!! Really, they aren't getting their paperwork in order first, huge surprise.
