  No, I thought not.

• The deficit doesn't mean shit, it's the debt that we need to control. Deficit constantly fluctuates, debt just keeps getting bigger.

• And that's just the deficit we know about, but since nobody has passed a budget in 6 years, (thanks to Reid and the rest of the crooks) I'm betting it's a lot more then that already.

• Hate to break it to these geniuses but the deficit exceeded one trillion last decade.

  As to what Obama inherited. The deficit under the last republican congress was $167 billion. Remember the congress spends the money. Also the big part of the debt in 08 and 09 was TARP ($800 billion). almost all of that money was paid back except for big Obama/democrat donors (can you say money laundering?). So lets say it was $700 billion paid back. That makes the Obama/democrat controlled congress's deficits even WORSE. Finally, Obama owns the 09 deficit not Bush. Remember that the fascist democrats refused to bring a budget to be signed by Bush for FY2009. They waited until Obama was immaculated to pass one. The last one passed under Obama.

• To be completely fair, the deficit was high when the President took office and even if it is the lowest since he has been in office, it is still a deficit. He has increase the debt substantially, but the only way to reduce things like the deficit is to cut spending and stop promising free everything to the people.

  Nice to see the increased oil production in the US (that he opposed) could help him out.
