Once again, just as with VietNam, our government has proven that the only force on this planet which can defeat the US militarily and economically is the Democratic Party.

They tried to make the point that Bush stated it was a NEW program as a way to cover their asses about this possibly exonerating Bush from the accusation that he lied. They do not want to exonerate him so that is why they stated that but according to Perino he never stated that it was a new program at all. The NYT blows.
The headline is always front & center. It is also huge. The correction on the other hand, is always small & buried in the back.
When is a lie not a lie...when its printed by the butt monkeys at the NYT of course...
The Ace of Spades points out the blatant lie in the NYSlimes article: that Bush claimed Iraq had an active WMD program. On the contrary, Bush made it clear to the UN he was worried about leftover WMDs:

Add this to the fact that we know convoys of trucks were hauling stuff into Syria before the invasion. I think we can pretty well guess what was being hauled: stuff Hussein didn't want the international community to know about.
I argue that everytime my Liberal-ish friend brings up the "bogus" WMD argument.
They'll just ignore this like they do everything else that doesn't fit their reality.
It doesn't matter, that is so 10 years ago.
Bush and Cheney have been proven right. Notice how Read Admiral Kirby is suddenly not available to speak to this matter.
Now that Bush was proven right, will Colin Powell apologize? Will the NYT find somewhere in the back pages to print some type of back handed apology? Sidekick is correct, according to the left Bush lied twice. Yet the information was kept from the public from 04 until today. The military was finding the chemical weapons from 04 until they left in 2011. Therefore, president putter and the hildabeast were lying too. But you won't hear anything about that now will you.
