New York Times worried about Bergdahl getting a job:
“Another question is whether the Army will give Sergeant Bergdahl an honorable discharge if he is found guilty of desertion. For members of the military, an honorable discharge is no small matter, and not getting one can hinder not only a veteran’s job prospects, but the entirety of how a service member looks back on his or her career.”

Remarkable how the writers at NYT never tire of kissing Obama's ass, covering for his traitorous decisions. They must buy chapstick by the truckload.
It isn't the ass kissing that is so revolting by itself, it's the fact that they are French kissing O's ass...with heartfelt passion.
Ahhh the journalists at NY Times. If he is convicted of Desertion, he will be imprisoned forever. The job he will have will be creating gravel from boulders(yes they actually do that at Leavenworth), and giving blowjobs to hardened felons who force him to be their bitch(yes they do that too). He will never see the streets again-and if he does, he will be 99 years old and will be let out on humanitarian grounds to die at home.. However, that doesn't happen in the case of desertion. He consorted with the enemy and many men died trying to find/rescue him. He's getting the full force of UCMJ thrown at him, and it's a lot harsher than constitutional law for civilians. There is no discharge for bergdahl-he will be jailed for all day-where he f***ing belongs. And personally, given the evidence already in the public domain, I hope he gets ass-raped by 25 guys a day for at least 40 years before AIDS finally puts him out of his misery. He is deserving of worse, but alas, this is the US, not China(yet).
If he's convicted, he'll have a job for life, making little rocks out of big ones.

They don't seem to worried about the job prospects of those who died or were injured because of this butt wart.

Don't worry about Bergdahl..he'll find plenty of work at Leavenworth, floors to be scrubbed, walls to be cleaned, showers to be de-contaminated..He'll find a new skill, Maybe even a flying carpet/prayer rug cleaner.
I've had and applied for a number of jobs since I got out in '69. No one asked what discharge I got..even if they asked if I served in the Armed Forces. I don't think it means squat to most companies if you got an honorable, general or dishonorable discharge.
They told us in boot camp that a DD was equivalent to a Felony conviction. That was in '84. 'Course, Uncle Ron was the boss back then...
Even if he's convicted, that turd in the WH will just pardon him anyway.
I was thinking the same thing, rang up a retired Army friend and inquired .... YUP, since he is being charged with desertion and not treason, 'The Empty Suit' can pardon him. UUUGGGHHHH.

They should be asking why he's not up for the death penalty. Who cares if he ever gets another job? 6 soldiers died trying to find this asshole, considering he walked away, he should be executed if found guilty.
