Critics say Nicolas Cage is a lousy actor. We don’t know if that’s true, but we do know that he’s a lousy economist.
Cage has proven his Democrat bona fides by giving money to Al Gore, to the California Democratic State Central Committee, to Frank Lautenberg, and to others. On top of that, he’s been named Global Citizen of the Year by the United Nations. And, finally, he supports Amnesty International.
He’s such a loyal Democrat, in fact, that he follows the party’s economic policies in his personal life. With the same disastrous results.

Actor Nicholas Cage lost his Bel-Air estate to foreclosure earlier this year. Two weeks ago, an anonymous buyer grabbed the mansion for $10.5 million in cash, less than a third of its original listing price.
Although Cage is reported to have earned $40 million in 2009 alone, he’s suing his former manager for collecting outsized fees and giving ruinous advice. For his part, the ex-manager claims Cage engaged on a “spending binge of epic proportions”, noting that in 2008 the actor had owned “15 palatial homes around the world, four yachts, an island in the Bahamas, a private Gulfstream jet and millions of dollars’ worth of art and jewelry.”
Rumor has it that Timothy Geithner will be leaving the Obama administration early next year. May we be the first to suggest that Nicolas Cage would be a worthy replacement.

Why is that photo from a gaming website? I don't remember any Nicolas Cage video games.
I think there was a Ghost Rider video game based on the movie he made (which by the way was just awful) and it is possible other movies he has made has been also made into video games.

Nick beleives in sharing the wealth; he shares his weath with real estate agents, yacht builders, jet aircraft companies, art gallery owners and high end jewelers. Nick's personal worth was greater than that of most Third World countries, maybe that's why the U.N. named him a "Global Citizen".
Being profligate, stupid and bankrupt puts Nick among the Democrat Hollywood elite.
I don't even know why people keep giving him roles. He hasn't done a good movie in almost 10 years. He is a normal Hollywood liberal no surprise.

I know that this is going to sound kinda crazy but maybe he could get a job.
I'm surprised he hasn't applied for a government bailout or a personal stimulus package. Can't you just hear the tappity-tap-tap of his keyboard as Cage tries his hand at making some money by writing a screenplay entitled "Valley Girl II - The Totally Tubular Gag-Me-with-a-Spoon Years"?
Turbo tax timmah will let him be declared a bank holding company so he can sell his worthless shit to the FED at whatever value he thinks its worth. Then turn around and loan it back to Timmah to fund the deficit. Then our children can pay him interest forever!
