North Korea woos tourists with launch of first cruise ship. Sounds luxurious! Their mode of transport is a far cry from the glamorous cruise liners that ply the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Instead, passengers are travelling on an aging 9,700 ton ship which was formerly used to transport cargo from North Korea to Japan before its entry was blocked following Pyongyang’s 2006 missile and nuclear tests.

I'm thinking of booking the Presidential Rust Room Suite with the 3 gallon paint bucket (instead of the 1 gal. one) for a bathroom and a cut down hollow core door screwed to the wall as a bar. It comes with a double wide hammock for the misses and I. They are going to have a festival party too and we have reservations to it which features a table (shipping crate) with party favors of plastic dinnerware, a meal (rice mixed with sardines) a balloon, a paper hat, and a whistle. This is booked as the exotic package so everyone hurry and make your reservations. What a bargain, it's only 8 million yen.

Seems like this would be a slam dunk for liberals who love the idea of getting back to the basics. No running water, no flush toilets, no electricity, bad food. All the hallmarks for saving the planet etc.
