We never thought we’d live to see the day that the National Organiation for Women would side with Michele Bachmann (or any other conservative woman, for that matter) on anything. And we mean anything!
But clear the runway and get ready for the pig to take-off, because that’s exactly what’s happened.

NOW, an organization that has received some criticism for its deafening silence when prominent conservative women like former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin are lampooned in the national press, has come out strongly against the depiction of Rep. Bachmann as the “Queen of Rage.”
“Who has ever called a man ‘The King of Rage?,’ NOW president Terry O’Neil told TheDC. “The ‘Queen of Rage’ is something you apply to wrestlers or somebody who is crazy. They didn’t even do this to Howard Dean when he had his famous scream.”
Of course, NOW doesn’t mention that Newsweek’s cover photo makes Bachmann look crazy as a loon, because, we assume, the lovely ladies of NOW live in a universe where all Republican women are crazy by definition.

Maybe President Bush should have used a teleprompter more often, eh? Can you really blame Obama for trying to deliver his speeches in the most efficient manner possible? Despite Obama's need for a teleprompter, I believe he performs better than Bush in interviews. i can just keep going on but we will still continue to disagree.

Has it ever occurred to you that maybe one reason Bush messed up some was that he wasn't reading nearly as much off a teleprompter but was speaking off the cuff more?

This thread is about even NOW being angry at a cheap shot taken at Michele Bachmann. You diverted the thread and got off topic by posting a video of Bachmann gaffes. I called Obama "57 states" and provided a couple of links to his gaffes. You got MAD and further diverted the thread by bringing Bush in. Don't insult our intelligence by saying you're neutral as you show or speak of the mistakes of Bachmann and Bush but then get MAD when Obama is shown as having his mistakes. Bush was President for 96 months. Obama has been President for 30 months. I guess Bush has messed up more because his presidency has been 66 months longer. I don't act like Bush was the second coming of Jesus. Why don't you prove to me that Bush messed up more in his first 30 months than Obama has messed up in his first 30 months? You can't. You just lap up the media narrative that Bush is dumb and Obama is Einstein. I don't get mad when Bush or Bachmann are shown making mistakes. I know they're human. I believe that he didn't have a teleprompter this time because he had someone telling him what to say through a wireless earpiece, like a bluetooth, or he recorded the speech and played it back through the earpiece to give in public.

NOW understands that if the women are too crazy to lead stereotype is advanced successfully against conservative women it will probably have a little bit of pull against liberal women as well.
