Joe Scarborough may be a jack Republican, but he occasionally suffers flashbacks to his life before MSNBC and inexplicably sounds like a conservative. Or at least a realist.
Enjoy this moment of clarity:
Joe: A president that cannot control 45 backbenchers in the opposing Party in the House of Representatives is too weak to be President of the United States. It is that simple. Lyndon Johnson would have eaten these people up for breakfast and spit them out before lunch.
Mika: Okay. These people though are the very people that I think don’t care…
Joe: Ronald Reagan wouldn’t put up, I mean, a strong leader doesn’t put up with it.
Mika: …about…
Joe: It doesn’t matter whether they care or not. You make them irrelevant to the process if you’re strong enough to do that.
You’re forgiven if you made the mistake of thinking that an experienced community organizer would have done a better job organizing the opposition.

He's absolutely correct. That's the power of the Presidency, if you can hold on to it. Obama has given away his power at every turn.
They call it "Leading from behind".
Back in the IL Assembley, it was called voting "Present".
I thought that was Barney's style.
No, he's just farting around.
Of course our Dear Leader can't control 45 people, his teleprompter refresh rate is too slow. More and more people are finally discovering that Obummer is as full of shit as the day is long... With extra to spare. He's nothing even close to a leader, unless it's the King Of Thieves.
i love that robinson is on there....i guess for some balance to joe's extreme conservative slant.
that show sucks....
Does someone NOT sense sarcasm?
Holy crap dude......read the whole post...I said the show SUCKS.
I do and gave you a thumbs up to cancel the dimbulb that gave you the thumbs down.
Backbenchers, eh? Is that another nickname for Tea Party?
You got owned, Barry. Walk it off. And resign. You are a disgrace.
Backbenchers is a term typically used in parliamentary systems like England or Australia. I'd never heard it used in reference to Congress before.
What do you think our elected elite have been trying to do our country for years now? When I watch the news about all the fires and riots in England, and hear the foolish children interviewed by their news media, it reminds me of all the welfare patients living in my little part of the world.
Give me liberty or give me death? Not any more. It's more like give me money I do not earn, free medical care, food, and anything else I want or I will burn you neighborhood down. It is happening in England right now and I fear it will soon be happening in American cities.
A very good friend after another career went through all the work and schooling to become a doctor but gave it up after having to deal with welfare recipients coming in for nonsensical ailments repeatedly and being forced by politically correctness to deal with them, it just wasn't worth it to him and not what he had expected.
Doctors get screwed because of lawyers and insurance companies, like there is some kind of difference between those last two. HA! The most self serving scheme ever allowed to exist on the face of the planet is lawyers and their creation, insurance. Who do you sue to take money from? People that have it, like doctors, who used to be the best targets for that since the work involved other peoples' health. Then malpractice insurance started jumping 100 to 500% every year or so, just to keep the lawyers and their lawyer friends in the insurance companies growing and growing. The lawyers knew they needed to take over the government in order to maintain their profit growth. They did. Now the scheme doesn't have much room left for expansion. They pyramid is showing some big cracks. 5% of the world population in the U.S. with 80% of the lawyers world's lawyers. When the U.S. economy evaporates and the mobs are eating the children, who will the lawyers sue?
Mika Brzezinski is a vapid fool, and if Scarborough had an ounce of self-respect, he quit this clown show of a network and reacquaint himself with what it really means to be a Republican.
Mika is there because she has a father everyone on the left loves. Plus she looks good in heels & boots, other then that, she offers nothing.
