  • Saw somewhere that there was a GOP straw poll yesterday and Rand Paul crushed Chris Christie...no mean feat if you know what I mean....that tells me that the libertarian/classical liberal element of the GOP is winning the ideological battle with the establishment Republicans. Rubio might as well not even bother forming an exploratory committee. To paraphrase Yamamoto: A sleeping giant has awakened. 100,000,000 traditional Americans are getting really pissed off.

  • There is no negotiation, so I guess this is one time Obama will have gotten it right. We don't want this damn communist take-over of our healthcare. End of story. What I'd like to know is just how Obama plans on getting the money to fund this Neo-Marxist law when Congress refuses to give it to him? I hope and pray they [Congress] stick to their guns and see this country-ruining law stymied once and for all.

      • If we would reform the immigration process, to allow good, hardworking imigrantsm, with some kind of job skill, or a guaranteed job waiting we would all be better off. It is the uncontrolled flood of criminals, skill-less workers and uneducated immigrants who come here and have nothing to offer us in return for their acceptance here that is the problem. And some of that shows. If you are a talented scientis, computer geek , physician, you can get a visa in a heartbeat. Others wwait for YEARS, plus bookoos of bucks to get in, And even those don't help our economy THAT much, because they send US dollars back to their poor families in other countriesm rather than putting it back into the economy here. Illegals are abused, cheated, can spread illness simply because they have no health care. We don't need amnesty AGAIN! This will be, what the 6th time in 60 years? And many who wre eligible for amnesty on one of the last rounds never applied, and are stil illegal. Fix the system, not just open the floodgates!
