America’s first socialist president calls Limbaugh and Beck “troublesome”

It must have been difficult for President Obama to hear Harry Smith’s question when it was asked because of the fact that newsman’s lips were firmly planted on the President’s ass, causing the words to be a bit muffled.

So just in case you have trouble hearing the question and answer, he’s a quick summary:

Smith: Listening to talk radio… The kindest of terms, you are sometimes referred to out in America as a socialist. The worst of which I heard you called a Nazi.
Obama: Well I think that when you listen to Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck it’s pretty apparent. It’s troublesome.

Indeed, we can imagine that it does seem a bit troublesome when freedom of speech keeps getting in the way of your socialist utopia.

  • America's first socialist president? Where has the admin/editor been during the term of every president, maybe sans Harding, for the last hundred years? Wake up neo-cons, things have been awful well before Obama took office.

    • Yes, they've been awful, but now they are awfuler.

Throw in a shitload of tyranny and fascism, and it's a about the awfulest it can get.

      • Tyranny? Facism? You're talking about the corporatization of America, yes?
This Presidency makes Ronald Regan/Dick Nixon look like Bill Ayers. Reagan never would have allowed the neo-cons their attempt at McDonalding Iraq.

In all my years of Naval Service, I never served with a rich man--CEO's kid--ever. I've learned the loathe the Cheney/Halliburton crowd--those types that'll send us to war on a lie, but kick back behind their five deferments and not send their kids into combat. Yeah, I'm talkin 'Cheney, Libby, Perle, Feith, Wolfowitz, Abrams, and Murdoch...think-tank pukes who never had the guts to serve: that's tyranny.

Tricky Dick was way to the left of Obama and Ronnie never would have let Iraq happen...Ronnie pulled out of Beirut 'cause he knew it would be a huge loser.

Health care? I just told my punk-ass boss to butt-jam it. I'm glad the insurance cartel has been hammered. The Cartel (along with Major League Baseball) are the last two entities hiding behind the anti-trust exemption. I'll start my own business now, thank you. hmmmm...maybe I'll start a blogging site?...naw, this Administrator is top-notch...good job, pal, I'm enjoying the hell out of your work!

Think I'll start a gambling/porn site instead. yeah!!!!

        • Gambling & porn...you could do well with that sort of thing. But since the US gov't frowns on the idea of online gaming, gonna have to be offshore.

  • So basically he is saying that everyone will love him eventually it just takes some time. Once people get to see and enjoy the free stuff and realize that socialism is not so bad things will swing his way. He is such a positive person.

As for Bush and his administration he was working behind the scenes to avoid the economic burst that happened, but was being blocked by the majority congress. There is documentation to that fact, unfortunately it came out and people weren't paying attention. Voting for Obama to punish the Republicans was a bad move.

    • No we are not, nor shall we.

As for our undoccumented President, go for it. You don't like Rush, Beck, Hannity, Levin, & FoxNews? Go after them, & if it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get. I will state my goal of helping destroy the MSM, which is killing itself anyway, & doing a good job of it. I want to see if the Obama White House will take over, not just bailout, dying media operations like the NYSlimes, CNN, the network newcasts. Do it, & expose yourself to further problems with the American people who are figuring it out. Keep lashing out at any & all critics, & everyone will be critical in time. Then we will throw you out on your a$$ & really tear down everything you built up.

In Obama's own words, GO FOR IT.

  • What Barack needs to understand is that he was not elected because of some great shift to the left in our country; he was elected in backlash to the unpopularity of Bush.

    • He seems to think Bush's mistake was in being the wrong type of big spending authoritarian statist and that if he puts the proper feel good smiley face on it America will gladly grovel on our knees....

I hope he's wrong thankfully for now it appears that he is.

  • Harry Smith was putting the finishing touches on his colonoscopy, part 2.

  • "A huge majority of Americans agree with my policies..." BO, I thought you put down the crack pipe along time ago. Apparently not.
