Isn’t it humiliating enough that unsold Obama memorabilia is clogging the shelves of Washington, DC souvenir stores?
Now comes the sad news that L’Obama, a bar in Northern Burgundy, France named after the President has closed its doors and a rental agent is looking for someone to take over the lease.
Unfortunately, Obama the President will outlast Obama the bar by several years.
Patrons of the bar may have had alcohol-fueled hangovers the morning after, but Americans will suffer from an economic-fueled hangovers for many years to come.

Customers left because they were demanding... er expecting free healthcare for the hangover and the tab picked by the rich fat cat bankers... and none of this happened.

A "Barack Obama Elementary School" in Asbury Park, NJ, recently closed also. It's clear that the Barack Obama fad is now history. I hope all of this presages the end of his rotten presidency.

Yay, let's celebrate this closing of a business. Just like how you celebrated the closing of a school. So when kids are out in the street with no education, you can go ahead and tell them, "that's good, cause it makes Obama look bad". You are ONE pathetic human being.
Uh huh. And all the kids that had the seriously bad luck to be sent to the Obama school, when it was closed, were just pushed out the door, and not reassigned to another lousy public school. I get it. You're retarded, aren't you? Or maybe you think I am.
Q-man, if this is celebrating anything, it's the free enterprise system. The bar's owners could have called their establishment anything, and they chose something they thought would bring in customers. And it probably did at first. But when word got out the place wasn't anything special inside -- think of its namesake as an "empty suit" -- business likely went down. And when the name itself lost its lustre, it was no longer a place anyone wanted to be associated with. The owners bet on the name itself being enough to ensure success. They might just as well have named it "Le Dump" or L Maison de Merde."
As for naming schools after a sitting president, I think that's among the dumbest ideas I've ever heard of, along with handing out Nobel Prizes for no good reason. We have one of those Obama schools in our area. Makes me wonder, do the kids get report cards, or are their school records mysteriously lost?

As for Obama "memorabilia" ... isn't that in order for people to REMEMBER someone or something (an event) of EXTREME worldwide/national importance or trend? I mean yes I UNDERSTAND selling memorabilia for like... The upcoming Royal Wedding in England for example. However OTHER than to sell ELECTION memorabilia which is long gone now, why is there memorabilia for Obama and just because? Is this normal? I am trying to figure out if it is. I understand memorabilia of Bush like after 9/11 or after the "Mission Accomplished" thing or even when he did MAJOR gaffes (like a doll saying nuclear weirdly), but seriously what has Obama done that is so memorable AND deserving of "stuff" other than being elected? Most people, unless they are idiots, know the Nobel Prize was not merited, but that is deserving of memorabilia, right now though I cannot think of anything else. Unless we are talking about dolls that are arrogant and come with teleprompter accessories... maybe?

I recently returned from a trip to France. Unlike the rumors, the people were quite nice. I heard they were assholes in Paris, not so. (Assholes are in New York) Anyway, in Paris, most of the souvenir shops had Obama crap right next to or intermixed with the Che Guevara crap. Appropriate. While I did see some people wearing Guevara stuff, no-one was wearing any Obama shit. Outside of Paris, so signs of either commie.
If you TRY to assimilate as much as possible by for example, speaking their language (attempt to) they are nice. However the French CAN be annoying especially when they get into their entitled socialist agendas.
It is actually not surprising that they would embrace.... or that they would assume that a socialist society would embrace Obama and want to have his ugly a** face on their t-shirts.
