Obama Makes Case for 2nd Term: ‘Harder’ Path to ‘Better Place’

Obama Makes Case for 2nd Term: ‘Harder’ Path to ‘Better Place’: Sorry, we don’t think the place that Barry wants to take us is a better one. It is curious though. For all this rhetoric of the long term required to improve the plight of Americans it certainly didn’t take the man more than a couple of days to use the Office of President to raise his standard of living to the best it has ever been.

  • Forward!, to a $20 trillion national debt.

    Forward!, to $5 gas.

Forward!, to 50 million Americans on food stamps.

Forward! to the cliff and jump!

    • Sorry Jim, but your gas estimate is way too low. The lefty geniuses can't stop there. It will require much higher prices than $5 to make the green energy stuff look reasonable. But I am sure Chairman O and his politburo would be happy with the other two figures.

    • You forgot Forward to more of my wife's multimillion dollar vacations, Forward to another 150 rounds of golf, forward to more unconstitutional executive orders,
And the band played on, and on, and on,,,

    • Forward! To the abyss!

Interesting speech, especially in what Obama didn't say. He did not once mention the two "achievements" of his first administration: the Stimulus Bill and Obama Care.

Farward! To frur more years of failed leadership and economic ruination.

      • Yeah he referred to both

        - kid in AZ who gets to stay on an insurance plan (YOU DID THAT!!!!1 he tells the crowd.. and yay, they cry, yes they did)
        - taxcuts in the Recovery Act

They just don't use the terms ObamaCare and Stimulus Bill much

What he didn't mention were all the inside deals that warped the healthcare bill beyond all reason
