Obama on Free Markets: “We tried it. It’s not like we did not try.” Yeah, and it doesn’t work, right? So, computers, iPads, iPhones, cars, cheap food, etc, etc, were all invented and produced by the extra guys on the state road crews that never seem to be shoveling when we drive by. There’s really no point in arguing with a boob who just makes sh-t up as he goes along. Or listening to him.

The last time the free market was tried Woodrow Wilson was still the President. We've had nearly an hundred years of government manipulation. And the more control they get the worse they make it.

Our economy was firing on all cylinders until something happened in January 2007. Then when the smart people, not educated smart, saw that a true dyed in the wool collectivist was going to be the NSD party candidate and stood a good chance of winning, another something happened. When those smart people saw that 0bama was elected and knew his true intentions the shit hit the fan.
All of that had nothing to do with capitalism or trickle down economics, which I will note had a SINGLE MONTH WITH 1,000,000 people hired. George W. Bush was no capitalist, he was a compassionate conservative which equals socialist light but still socialist.

He's not talking about the Free Market. He's talking about trickle-down economics, and financial deregulation
You can't win with this sort of argument. Republicans have many ways to make a credible case against him, but they are sullied by cheap mischaracterizations. Sometimes I hear ole Mitt say some very wise things, in opposition to Obama. He won't drift into the Obama-is-marxist-or-muslim claptrap, because he knows that rhetoric hurts his overall case.
Be chill.. demonstrate the steady pragmatic reason that is the hallmark of conservatism. Remember, some of Obama's most crazed supporters back then freaked simply Obama uses macs and iPhones and all those free market goodies. That made him the first cool president. He is losing it. Things are going to get even weirder, the lies bigger, and the repudiation of reality more outlandish. The man's basic psychological flaws of abandonment issues (both mother and father), self-loathing issues (I hated my white half), and muslim/communist upbringing in his formative years (Indonesia and Frank Jones) are coming right up to the surface.
jukin, you make a great point. Has anyone else noted that when cities develop over old landfills that, eventually, bed springs, broken glass, tin cans, fence posts, plastic bags and other bits of garbage make their way to the surface?
People can heap all the fill dirt they want over a dump but the refuse will finally surface.
