So, computers, iPads, iPhones, cars, cheap food, etc, etc, were all invented and produced by the extra guys on the state road crews that never seem to be shoveling when we drive by. After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages.
