Springfield mayor Frank Edwards is pissed off. Back in August 2008, Presidential candidate Barack Obama held a campaign rally at Illinois’ Old State Capitol to announce Joe Biden as his running mate. Now the deadbeat and the running mate are stiffing the city for the cost of security.
St. Louis Today has the details of the mayor’s debt threat:
Edwards has written President Barack Obama seeking the balance of the bill the city ran up for police when the then-candidate visited in 2008 to announce his running mate.
The (Springfield) State Journal-Register reports that the city submitted a bill for $68,139. It’s still owed $55,457.
The interim mayor says there appears to be confusion about whether the Secret Service or the White House owes the money.
Edwards wrote that “sometimes only the executive himself can cut through such inter-departmental differences of opinion.”
He says he’s not trying to embarrass anyone, but times are tight.
If President Obama can’t scrape together enough cash to pay this bill, perhaps he should handle it the same way he pays every other bill:
Borrow the money from China.

Why am I not suprised? This traitorous non-American usurper should be dragged by his feet into the street in front of the WH, along with the FBOTUS and the both of them should be flogged to death for their crimes against this nation. Do I sound like I have a shred of patience left? Slap me if I do!
