According to President Obama, a Libyan rebel war council is virtually indistinguishable from a local Rotary Club meeting. If you could just learn to ignore the rocket propelled grenades, you couldn’t tell one meeting from another.

The US is considering giving weapons to rebels battling Muammar Gaddafi’s regime in Libya, despite concerns that some could have terrorist links to al-Qa’ida and Hezbollah.
“We are examining all options to support the opposition,” President Barack Obama said yesterday. His comments, a day after his nationally televised address on the reasons for US military involvement in Libya, came as leaders from countries involved in the military operation now under NATO leadership met in London to co-ordinate efforts against the Gaddafi regime
US officials also appear unclear about the allegiances of rebel groups and what sort of governmental system might replace the dictator’s rule after 41 years.In one of three interviews yesterday, Mr Obama said the rebels were “saying the right things” so far. “Most of them are professionals, lawyers, doctors, people who appear to be credible,” he told CBS.
“That doesn’t mean that among all the people who oppose Gaddafi, there might not be elements that are unfriendly to the United States and our interests.”
“This week’s meeting of the Benghazi Rotary Club is now called to order. First item on the agenda is a report on this weekend’s al Qaeda bake sale.”

The better for him to be considered a leader to the left. And I'm assuming that that's a scalpel in his hand, since he's obviously a doctor.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. These guys are all professionals: doctors, lawyers, pilots, psychologists, architects, psychiatrists, dentists, eye doctors, surgeons...yeah. The professionals sure have a way with w(ar)ords, don't they?
I'm just glad none of them are college "guest speakers" as was the " little o". We know how much they can be trusted.

What's unsaid here is Obama's definition of what those "right things" might be. I suspect his definition of the "right things" differs from that of 90% of ordianary Americans. He's a dangerous man, dangerous because he's incompetent, inexperienced and a left wing ideologue.
The "right things" that the rebels told Obama:
1. Be enemies of the Western world, especially the US.
2. Kill as many unrepentant non-believers in Islam as possible.
3. Annihilate Israel and kill all Jews all over the globe.
4. Implement a global caliphate
I am sure that Obama didn't find anything wrong with any of those things. Especially since lawyers and doctors and what not are at the vanguard of such plans. You know... instead of CRAZY muslims who have no profession.
Apparently, it takes a cluster fark to know a cluster fark. Thank you, Mr. President.
When different factions of Islam want to fight amongst each other, we should arm both sides. Just like the gangs in our cities. Put all the gang members in the L.A. Coliseum, throw in enough guns and ammo to obliterate the whole bunch of them, and arrest the last one standing for murder. If people want to be violent towards each other, that's fine. Our responsibility is to try to contain it, to keep innocents from being affected.

Absolutely brilliant, provide weapons to the Libyan rebel fighters, whose ranks have current “al qaeda” members. Another demonstration of the genus thinking of this administration; the same “terrorist” engaging in the ambush of Americans one week slither across a boarder, than get supplied by America with modern arms the next as “rebels”.
The new moral compass established for America as directed by our multinational rulers, the United Nations under the guise of Humanitarian effort? I must have missed the vote to advocate the United States of America’s sovereignty, but as the constitution appears to mean nothing to our new ruling elite, a vote by mere taxpayers would have been another lesson in futility. We are standing on the edge of an event horizon and don’t seem to see the greatness of America slipping away into the black hole.
