Kenneth T. Walsh, Chief White House correspondent for US News & World Report, met the The Greatest President History in person and thinks he’s also the Smartest President In History.
“Face to face,” Walsh says, “President Obama seems even more unflappable, cerebral, and dispassionate than he appears on television.”
Silly us. We thought things like the war with Fox News, the AP, and Edmonds.com made Obama seem a wee bit thin skinned. But Walsh tells us, “Obama’s natural instinct is to keep his feelings to himself.”
Just to be sure, we’re still talking about Barack Obama, right?
Finally, Walsh says, “I have interviewed each of the past five presidents — Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and now Obama—and Obama seems the most cerebral and the least emotional of them all.”
That may be true, Kenneth, but we’ll bet you good money that the other four could have told you how many states there are.

Uh, feline--Clinton's IQ is 137--not bad, but not the "most intellectual" president we've ever had. Affirmative Action Boy probably has an IQ in the 120 to 125 range, which is also not bad, but his chronic laziness diminishes his ability to actually achieve anything in the real world. P.S.-- My IQ is 154, so I'm smarter than both their asses.
“Smart” is a relative term. If Barry’s intelligence is compared to that of his devoted doltish followers then he naturally appears smarter than smart. Fortunately, those of average and above intelligence aren’t so easily fooled.

If Barry Obama is so smart... Why was the country so much more prosperous under Bush (4-6% unemployment rate), Clinton (90s tech boom), even GHW Bush and for sure under Regan (he pulled the nation back from the Carter mess)? Smart is as smart accomplishes... Not as some label which people give others based on their like/dislike of someone due to his political leanings.
Feline, I see you said the Barry Obama gaffe was from his "complete exhaustion from the campaign". Sure, you did not say it was from his "tireless working as a US Senator- the job he was elected to do during that time" as the reason. I wonder why?
Obama was the puppet the Chicago Political Machine (I live in Chicago BTW) and worked less in his actual job then on his job of media image and spin. Lying all day and making promises you can't keep can lead to "complete exhaustion from the campaign" I am sure. That, and it took a billion dollars in hype, media bias, ACORN voter fraud and then Barry won by a razor thin mere 10 million votes- most of whom were moderates and independents who he now pissed off and alienated.
Pretty Kitty, with Obama we have the most unqualified POTUS in history; one with the thinnest resume ever. You can say he is 'smart' but he acts like a foolish manchild and not the servant leader the USA needs in these modern times.

Also what kind of smart is Obama? There is book smart, street smart, people skill type of smart, emotional intelligence, military strategy smart, practical money making smart, 'horse sense', intuition... Obama lacks in all these areas. So enlighten me on how exactly he is smart!
Teleprompter reading does not count for actual smarts. But Obama is very skilled at, and overly reliant on, that. He is at least smart enough to not open his mouth without having another's pre scripted words ready for him to use.

Patrick, nice finish on your article, the "57 states" thing, however, that misstatement by Obama was due to complete exhaustion from the campaign, this I'm am quite sure of......and so are you, if you were honest.
I do agree with Kenneth Walsh in his assessment of Obama, with one exception, and that is.....IMHO Bill Clinton is the most intellectual President we have every had, with Obama in a very close 2nd. That is why I voted for both of them.....and I'm not sorry I did in either case!!!!

The most intellectual President the U.S. has ever had was Thomas Jefferson. Clinton, Bush and Obama are paint-by-numbers artists compared to Jefferson.
