Newsweek post-Obamacare decision poll shows no bounce for president. 32% said the SCOTUS’s decision would make it more likely they’d vote for Romney, 11% said less. If Healthcare Law Is A Tax Is It Now Invalid? It seems that we remember something in civics class about Article 1, Section 7 that prohibits taxes from originating in the Senate. It also seems that we remember Obamacare originating in the Senate. So the question is . . . does that render any or all of this bill invalid? We won’t hold our breath though. The Constitution prohibits a majority of the things those in government do, which is why they’ve learned how to ignore it.

Kevin Smith on God: I’m spiritual myself; I believe in God. I don’t need some dude judging me and how I live, and cramming God down my throat. God is something that, you go to the fridge and say, “I want a can of God,” and you enjoy it. The moment somebody is like, “You have to take all of this god, you have to carry it and you have to live these rules,” they ruin a good thing . . . That is good advice about not shoving “God” on people. Unfortunately Smith cannot apply this reason to the other place in which it applies. Otherwise he’d stop trying to shove his big government and his rules and his controls onto us.
