Former Carter pollster Pat Caddell is a Democrat, but to us he’s always seemed to be one of the more rational ones. Now, perhaps, more than ever.
The Daily Caller has news of Caddell’s anus animus:
On Fox News Channel’s Friday airing of “Red Eye,” host Greg Gutfeld wondered if the media were in denial over the notion it had little to do with the actions of Jared Loughner, the suspect in the recent Tucson, Ariz. shooting.
“Here’s an interesting point — as the truth comes out about this nutcase, doesn’t it seem like the media can’t believe that the killer doesn’t care about them?” Gutfeld asked. “It’s like they think they had an impact on him, when in fact all he cares about is UFOs.”
That led Caddell to launch into a rant about the media, specifically naming New York Times columnist and Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman and Newsweek and Daily Beast columnist Jonathan Alter.
“[T]he point is – you know, this thing started – I have to say, when I look at [Paul] Krugman and Jonathan Alter, with his advice and the president, ‘Don’t let this go to waste – let’s make it like Oklahoma City,’ and Krugman who is just a flat-out asshole, I’m sorry – these people, what they did…”
Caddell indicated their initial response should have been different.
“People are dead and the first thing you have to do is go to politics, I mean no wonder the country hates the media and hates the politicians,” he said.
Yes. We hate the media. You hate the media. And now Pat Caddell confesses that the country hates the media.

Here here You cant hold it against Pat for working with the second worst president. He was young and the smoke still had not cleared.
Pat has got to get the That a boy award for the year for calling them out on national tv. No doubt his DNC card will soon be revoked for it.

Caddell is anything but an idiot, he has seen what the "progressive" leadership has done to his Demacratic Party. He was ahead of the curve in calling them out, at least from within the party.
I can think of no one, NO ONE in the media who has more pulpit and less clue than Krugman, short of Obama. It is astounding to see Krugman contantly harp on how all of America's problems can be attributed to the government not spending enough money. How he became an expert on politics, social life, psychology, and all things Americana is completely mystifying, as is the NYT for continuing to publish his regular load of crap.
Thank you Mr. Cadell for voicing what we all know, especially after Krugman's inane comments following Tucson.

I don't hate 'The Media.' I'm not a fan of any of the lamestream media and its ugly pole smoking clones, but since when has it been the only show in town...the 80's? There's more than one way to skin a cat and there's more than one way to get one's news. I haven't depended on ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, PBS, et al., etc. for over two decades. I stopped reading the Tampa, Florida version of Pravda over thirty years ago, about the same time I stopped reading Newsweek, Time, Reader's Digest, TV Guide, Look, and more...hell, they all shilled for the marxist-socialist agenda and hid behind the Democrat Part banner. I can't be the only person in America who came to the same conclusion at about the same time.
Remember hisham, to know your enemy is to know how to defeat him. I still flick through the local lamestream media stations, read the liberal rags called newspapers (the Albuquerque Urinal is the local favorite) so I can understand what nonsense the liberal elite are up to now. Funny thing is, the more you keep up with them the easier it is to see how dumb and narrow minded the "reporters" are. Even more funny is the fact that they are so dumb they don't know it themselves. The media fools truly believe they are important and what they say means something! It's unbelieveable.
Caddell may be the only democrat that truly see the damage his party has done. A lone voice in the wilderness. Just waiting for someone the liberal media to paint a target on his back so the rest of them can start firing away. A few more appearances on FOX might do the trick.
For the libs who may view the above comment. Yes, the word "target" and "firing" were used but only in the context of possible predicted events. The liberal media uses such violent rhetoric to describe their political enemies and it is in that spirit the the words "target' and "firing" were used.

If old school democrats like Cadell would just shut up the new CDP could lead us to the glorious Utopian future they have planned for us komrades. Cadell should be sent to a place where he no longer disrupts the Party's business.
