Pelosi admits the truth: “I’ll stop blame Bush for everything when the problems go away.”

Every once in a while a politician slips and accidentally tells the truth. Even Democrats.

For example, in an interview with MSNBC’s Chuck Todd, Nancy Pelosi actually said she’ll stop blaming Bush for everything “when the problems go away.”

Or when hell freezes over. Whichever comes first.

Damn Freudian slips.

  • Didn't the Dems actually take control of the house and senate in 2007?
    And from that fateful day:
    Washington Post
    Friday, January 5, 2007
Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was elected America's first female speaker of the House yesterday in a raucous, bipartisan celebration of a historic breakthrough, and hours later she presided over passage of the broadest ethics and lobbying revision since the Watergate era.
Hmm. Seems like that didn't go so well...

    • I think I developed an ulcer, that day...

Now that you bring it up, I don't think I've ever gotten over that. I'm still absolutely baffled.

I've only felt that way one time since...

  • What a fine example of maturity she sounds like a little kid it is evereyones fault but the dems. Wait until Obama care destroys Amereica somehow she will find a way to blame Bush for that. She is a liar she is sneaky and she is a nasty peace of work. don't worry Pelosi 2010 is coming you will not be speaker for much longer thank God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Every President inherits good and bad from the previous administration. The reason CLinton's budgets wer balanced is because he had a Republican majority Congress. Dems complained about Bush's election past the initial term and well into and after the 2nd term where he was RE_ELECTED. Obama did not run for office. The Democrats ran against Bush, who couln't even run! THe question is what you do when you get there with what you have. Instead of correcting the budget shortfalls, Obama and his lapdog Congress have increased them many fold. Nothing has improved under Obama, and he has not proved to be a competent or even believable President. EVERYONE can see how he is going back on every campaign promise he made. Bush doesn't have anythig to do with all that. That is all at Obama and Congress' doorstep.

    • Going to add to your excellent post, Deb, that Clinton, with the aforementioned Republican majority congress, at least was smart enough to know that he'd never get anything done by pushing a far left agenda.

What Clinton did was "moderate" or adjust towards the "middle". That's how he got things done.

Not heaping praise on the guy, by any stretch, just saying he "strategerized" to borrow a word from Prez Bush. Something I doubt the current guy would do.

  • Reagan Blamed Carter until in his second term idiot. You repugs need to read some actual history. Sorry but, Bush doesn't get to leave the country in a depression two wars and tripling the deficit and just exit stage right. He will be blamed until we have fixed the crap he did. So get used to it and quit your fing whining

    • You sure are right about those two wars. It's a good thing that Obama put such a fast stop to them, just like he promised he would.

      • Fixing a house fire by throwing gasoline on it?

Or the arsonist bitching at the firefighters while they're trying to put out arsonist fire.

        • You're RIGHT D - kind of like Obama and his "staff" shooting at BP daily while they try to stop the leak.

          We *know* you're white!

          • I never said I was black dip shit. Was that some feeble attempt at GOTCHA? Obama will keep his boot heal on the neck of BP just like he will on the neck of the GOP.

You got me SCDiver, I clicked the like and dislike buttons. What a douche

          • Ooooh, the ultra lib is calling names again--must be time for a diaper change. Yes, you clicked the dislike button on my posts and then used one of your other aliases to "like" your own and dislike mine.

            Lame.

        • No, definately fixing a house fire by throwing gasoline on it.

Love how you use your other account to give yourself a thumbs up and both to give me thumbs down too. Real cool.

  • She meant: When everything works out the way I want them, I will take credit, if they make everyone happy and I get to keep my job if they don't work out and everyone is mad at me even though it is exactly what I wanted I will still blame Bush.

    Lame.

Keep blaming people see how blaming people INSTEAD of creating solutions to problems going to make these problems go away.

  • It wasn't a slip retards. She meant it. Becasue it's true. When Bushes problems are fixed we'll quit blaming him. Get it!!!
