What we have here is a basic contradiction between what NAACP President Ben Jealous said on Thursday and what he said earlier in the week. Damn inconvenient videos.
Politico reports his Thursday comments:
NAACP President Ben Jealous said Thursday that the resolution passed by the group on Wednesday does not call the tea party “racist.”
No?
A portion of the resolution does indeed characterize the behavior as “racist,” but Jealous said Thursday during an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that the resolution was not intended to condemn the entire movement as such.
“We aren’t saying that the tea party is racist,” Jealous said. “What we’re saying is that with their increasing power comes an increasing responsibility to act responsibly…and to call out when they see those things on those signs.”
And furthermore:
Asked if he thought members of the tea party are racially insensitive, Jealous responded: “No, not at all.”
Of course, this is a little hard to square with the video clip above in which Jealous says the Tea Party is a direct descendent of white supremacist groups.
But never let it be said that Jealous let truth get in the way of a good line of bullshit.

I find it odd to see someone in an organization with a racial component as a cornerstone of it's existance calling another group of people who have no such thing racist. Again, those accusing others of the deed they are more or less guilty of.
His name says it all. Why bust your B#$t to earn something if you can get it handed to you on a silver platter. There is certainly racism in America. And Blacks may be some of the most racist people I have ever spoken to. Speeches like this demaean those who fought for civil rights only to have them wasted by subsequent generations. Blacks in particular dnot want equality. They want to BE the "massa" they claim to hate so much. They don't care about anything or anyone but themselves. Starting in their neighborhood and family groups to clean up the trash would certainly be a start.
This is getting really tired, really quickly. As Mr. Jealous spoke all I heard was blah, blah, blah, blah, blah :) He's nothing more than a little boy crying wolf.
Had Mr. Jealous legitimately supplemented his discussion with an overhead depicting Tea-Partyers with these abhorrent signs - my opinion may be different regarding some of the attendees. But just as not all
African Americans are not Black Panthers, not all Tea Partyers are white supremasists.

There is always a chance that within pockets of Tea Parties in different parts of the country there are racists within the group or a Tea Party group (not national but regional) itself has racist tendencies. However the ENTIRE (National) Tea Party group cannot be categorized as racist. It has nothing to do with racism. I think that had Obama been a white man the Tea Party would have emerged anyway, because it is not about Obama being Black, it is about Obama and his administration being the MOST virulent socialist left winged administration in recent history. Obama is not "ruling" from the mid-right, nor did he change his ways to the mid-right like Clinton did, he instead INSISTED in pushing hard left wing causes. That infuriated people. People who work hard for what they have AND especially those that are charitable with their money HATE heavy taxation. I just don't understand why Liberals cannot see how detrimental to everyone heavy taxation can be.

Could it be possible that a deal was struck in the Obama administration to Acquiesce to the NAACP’s request to drop the New Black Panther case in the DOJ providing that the NAACP does something for Obama, such as Defame his biggest adversary, the TEA Party movement?
The left has demonstrated ad nauseam who the real racists are. That group includes, of course, the NAACP. Like Muslims who will not condemn terrorist activity perpetrated by their Muslim "bothers" while trying to convince you how "peaceful" their religion is, so too the NAACP will not condemn even the most virulent racist "brother" spewing forth their venom and hatred while pretending they themselves aren't racist.

The president was in my home town yesterday, the local liberal infestation had a field day attacking the Tea Party.
The Tea Party held a protest, and in true liberal fashion our local sentinel gave the Tea Party minimal coverage.
(But Last week the libs held a protest against the local BP gas stations and our sentinel gave them front page coverage with photos and interviewed the obamabots.)
The president in his speech took a personal jab at one of the republicans running for Governor. The event was invitation only, U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra was invited by the Democrats to attend the ground braking ceremony of a stimulus funded Battery plant. The president attacked Hoekstra because he voted against the stimulus bill.
Obama made a point of saying Hoekstra voted against the stimulus but wouldn't miss a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Of course our local tards are foaming at the mouth now, they are in liberal heaven.
