• everybody cares about these people while the non-profit foundations are being created and funded (and tax-exempted), but afterwards you can't find a single rep of these foundations to explain their shortcomings in doing the relief work the very org was intended to do. meantime, the schmucks starting these orgs get all the glory b/c the truth gets swept under the rug.

  • 2 words, United Way.

    • United Way is about the most worthless organization ever to call itself a charity. When I'm looking for charities to work with, I breeze right by any group with an affiliation with United Way. Most of their contributions are coerced out of workers in order to keep their jobs without being hassled.

      • Not to mention that they have about the highest administrative costs of any charity. They might just rival the government in that respect.

• Everyone mentioned here are minor leaguers compared to François Duvalier "Papa Doc", & Jean-Claude Duvalier "Baby Doc". They pocketed about $1billion between the 2 of them...

• I don't remember which web site I saw the story on but it said about 7 million in Haiti relief funds was "disappeared" and conditions still suck 7 years after the hurricane. Looks like another demotard disaster relief disaster. And disaster master Bill Clintoon is in charge, maybe he gave Sean Penn a bunch of money and that is why Penn is hosting a dinner honoring Clintoon and his magic male member for all the "wonderful" things Clintoon has done for all of us......
