About half an hour I got kinda rickrolled over on to that swillhole "Think Progress," and a story talking about this year's great-bet-yer-bottom-dollar-never-saw-anything-like-it-before flooding. And the Current Truth on why, despite all those infallible, the-consensus-is-in climate models, the sea level is actually receding. Ready for it? It's =raining so much now= that all the water is being redistributed in the name of aquiferous justice to previously dry areas!

Well in Texas our aquifers are really taking a hit. Maybe they could send some of that rain here.
Don't you know it girl. It's so dry in New Mexico that if you spit it evaporates before it hits the ground! Why do you think the Goreites changed their mantra from "globull warming" to "climate change".
Record snow fall in the mid-western states this past winter, levees having to be breached all along the Mississippi to keep Old Man River from washing New Orleans into the Gulf. Record breaking cold all across the southwest, -28 degrees below zero one morning at my house. -50 below in places in northern New Mexico. More rain up and down the Mississippi valley than they need. More rain on the east coast than they need. Not enough rain in Texas and most of New Mexico while parts of Arizona are getting more than they have had in years.
What the "climate change" fools don't understand is all of us that have lived more than 30 or 40 years have seen all this before. Those of us that paid attention to our grandparents and parents have heard many stories about wet years, dry years, cold winters and hot summers. It's just Mother Natures way of slapping us once in a while, telling us not to get too cocky, you don't know nothing.
I know-and even the weather people usually refer to previous events in comparison to what they see now. The drought in Texas is being compared to an earlier drought in the '50's. Katrina was no greater a Hurricane that the Great Hurrricane of 1900 that wiped the better part of Galveston off the map. 1928 had extreme flooding along the Mississippi. Its all a cycle. It comes, it goes. Just gotta learn to deal.
I remember when Burlington VT had Bernie for Mayor. Within 2 years City Hall Park went from a nice place to eat lunch, to a trampled dump with shacks and cardboard boxes the homeless bums were living in. It seems the bloodsuckers, attract other bloodsuckers.
I'm old enough to remmeber when Vermont was a rock-ribbed Republican stronghold; but it changed in the 60s with the invasion of hippies and other counter-cultural types. Eventually they were able to take over local government and they kept expanding their power until now the state is completely controlled by the Left. Bernie Sanders is just the tip of a nasty iceberg.
