Road rage: Michelle Obama gets frosty reception from NASCAR crowd as she’s BOOED before race begins. Sounds like many NASCAR fans aren’t fooled by communists who show up to woo a patriotic crowd. We wonder if she had a triple cheeseburger and a double order of fries for lunch?

CO2Insanity: Tired of the CO2 BS and all the other BS in the US and the world.

  • I am surprised Olivious isn't bitching cause there's no Muslim NASCAR drivers. And Nascar doesn't stop for Rhamadamdamdam of whatever the hell you call it.

  • There can only be one reason she showed up at a NASCAR event, and it wasn't to enjoy the wonderful pastime of watching cars go fast. It was because somebody told her that she could possibly get votes for the anointed one. Which was wrong, of course.

Or possibly, one of the food vendors has some good tamales.

  • So that explains why her Old man was so pissed off looking tonight when he gave the 'Don't Blame Me" speech, after the Supercommitee vapor-locked. Or was that because he married a Star Wars Character?

  • Wonder if the "first lady" is still proud of her county now?
( I'll never forgive or forget that remark)
Theres a reason her collage thesis was sealed during the election-

Oh and Yes Mr & Mss Obama, "All This Just for Damn Flag"

Of course you won't. Anyone with a grain of sense would recognize what she meant to convey, instead of blowing it out of proportion and stewing over it for three years......but it's impossible to be sensible and play victim at the same time.

(P.S. Learn to spell "college," okay? And, while you're at it, maybe someone ought to tell you that First Ladies are under no obligation to surrender their right to privacy, just because you feel like nosing into their private business.)

      • Olivia:"Learn to spell 'college,'"

And yet three minutes earlier in your 5:03 pm post you misspelled "Michell".

Did I? If so, I'll readily admit to carelessness, and try to be more careful in the future. By the way, you missed a couple of commas in YOUR post (as copied above). Carelessness or ignorance?

          • Olivia:"you missed a couple of commas"

No I didn't. It's "ignorance" on your part that you think one sentence conveying only one complete thought requires "commas". College has the letter e in it twice but so does "Michell".

          • Being the spelling nazi seems to be her new thing. She bitched at me about it in a condecending manner a few days ago. Who cares what she says? I don't give a damn, just another worthless progressive who feels a need to be "better" then you.

      • Oliver, Paden can spell any way he wants to as long as we know wut he meens. Why dont you get someone to duct tape you to the propeller of one of the big wind turbines and let you take a ride for a while. Maybe then you could drive the bats crazy.

      • What has her comment about "finally being proud of her country" got to do with privacy issues? She said this in a well publicized speech so is fair game for ridicule.

Nothing. I was referring to the popular right wing gripe that she hasn't made her college thesis available to the public. Neither has Bush. Neither has Gingrich. Neither have any past presidents or First Ladies, as far as I know. So why beef about Michelle Obama not being willing to surrender her right to privacy on demand?

....or, in this case, twisting, spinning and blowing completely out of proportion.

          • I think you like to argue just for the sake of argument. You can't really be that dumb can you?

I have been voting since Tricky Dicky was President and do not recall one President whose college transcripts were not an open book available to all. The same holds true for most of the First Ladies. Gingrich's life, including his education, is an open book, he talks about all his faults and foiables freely.

This isn't some right wing gripe, it's an American gripe. We want to know who our elected leaders are to determine if they are fit or even elegible, to lead this country. As far as I am concerned the fact that neither Obama will release their college transcripts is proof they have something to hide. That is something we do not need in American politics.

You just love to talk about yourself, don't you.

  • The wildebeest looks about as happy as someone who's been out of work for 3 years. I bet she was mad enough to boil a whitey in a kettle. This might be the end of racing because when soetoro hears about the booing he'll make another regulation that race cars can no longer have fumes coming from the exhaust. I think mudshell is starting to understand how loved the first family really is now. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

  • I was kind of hoping they would greet her with stony silence or a mass turnaround, showing her their backs, but booing is good too.

This doesn't fool anyone. You can't go around ridiculing and insulting a large part of the population and then expect to make nice with them once you need their votes and expect that all will be forgiven.

      That's very true.
Of course, Michell Obama didn't do that, or anything like it, but why let facts get in the way of a good whine?

      • I guess you missed this little foot in mouth comment made earlier this year by Obama:

who knew that Michelle would be pandering the NASCAR vote, who as Barack Obama stated were, “bitter,” distrustful have-nots who “cling to guns or religion.”

Ya think the crowd was letting her know what she should report to the Messiah when she got home?

  • How sweet, look who's back! Guess she's had a tough couple weeks emptying bedpans and wiping arses at an Occupy tantrum.

  • "Why, even the sainted George W. Bush enjoyed lobster from time to time, presumably at taxpayer expense."

Eating lobster is a minor taxpayer expense compared to all the elaborate and fancy jaunts around the world that the 'O's' have taken. Would love to see a note comparison on that.

      • Jamestown born and raised, Then Bismarck for about 10 years! Loved the hunting and fishing! But Winters suck, when its 30 below and your ass deep in snow, its not a good time...

        • ...and the wind! Don't forget the wind. I like snow. I like cold. I like wind. I don't even mind any dual combo of these, but add all three of them together and it's heck on earth.

Was there back in January 2009 on a morning it was a balmy -44 F and dead calm. It was so cold, even the wind had the good sense to stay in bed that A.M.

Nodak Suz, I think Grand Forks is a beautiful town in summer and fall, but brutal in the winter. I've been there many times in winter and admire anyone who can tough that area out between Halloween and Easter.

          • Yea I can remember going to work and leaving my car running all day in a parking lot to keep it from freezing up...Had a truck with a snowplow for the wintertime, and never really had anything but a 4 by 4 when I lived there...But I still love the place..Growing up was like Mayberry..We could go out all day go fishing, ride our bikes, but if we got into trouble our parents got the news thru the hotline cause everyone knew everyone else and everybody knew who you were....School days during a blizzard were fun, no school got to stay at home while mom baked cookies....Your making wish for the good old days..:)

      • Born in Minot, ND and have lived in Grand Forks for many, many years (too many to mention -lol). It may get cold and snowy here, but the people are GREAT.

        • Yea but the older I got the less fun the cold became...I guess I just wussed out..hehe. I love that state, people are great, and they got the benefit of low unemployment and a budget surplus..I go back once a year to visit and go after some white-tail deer...Plus fall in North Dakota is the most beautiful time of the year..kinda renews your belief in the creator..
