White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs is at his best (or worst) when being dismissive of anyone daring to criticize The Greatest President In History.
Thursday a reporter had the temerity, the nerve, the gall, to repeatedly ask Gibbs what White House party planner Desiree Rogers was doing during the state dinner. Was she working at the party or was she attending the party?
A clearly perturbed Gibbs finally said “Just take a deep breath” and compared her to his children. It was over the top even for Gibbs – so condescending that the rest of the assembled press corp to let loose with an audible “Ooooh.”
Gibbs then threatened to send her to bed without dinner and cut off her allowance.

He gets a lot of laughs, but he is condescending arrogant bastard. With that said where is the African American or Black American outrage over a white man dismissing and patronizing a Black woman...? uhm...? where is it? So quick to say that people who disagree with Obama are racists were are they now?
Fanning a question must be a Gibsy favorite if she told him not to do it. Then, the condescension? It is getting to be so bad there that Baghdad Bob had more credibility. The sad thing is the press corps knows this and should be excoriating Gibbs and the entire administration daily and they are not.
Would he have done the same to a white, male reporter? I think that he would have because he seems to be a dick, but I am surprised that one of the race revs (Jackson or Sharpton) or NOW hasn't spoken up.
I also loved the Oohs and ahs from the other reporters as if this were some prelude to a high school fight.
As the court jester, he isnt even that funny.
Is it just me, or is it truly terrifying that a moron like this is trusted to share the will of the president with the people on a daily basis?
I have read that he is one of barry soetero's most trusted confidants. That is truly one of the more terrifying things I can imagine.
The fact that he is so close to the "leader of the free-of-brains world is just the icing on the obiden cake. I would sooner have that guy from the original bad news bears with the long greasy hair, cut off sleeves, and over-sized aviator sunglasses as my chief of communicating with the world than Giboon-I mean gibbs!
