Yup. The head of the Fed came right out and said what so many of us think: Ron Paul is crazy as a loon. Bernanke told the doddering former presidential candidate that his conspiracy theories are “absolutely bizarre.”

For goodness sakes we don't even occupy countries to help them keep democracy, we prop up god damned dictators who are willing to play ball with us?!?!? Some of you should look at what we were involved with in Chili years ago. You are sold BS on both the left and the right and you all swallow it up as fact without an ounce of critical thinking.
Ron Paul is 100% right on our foreign policy, you people are bat shit nuts. Do you think there would be a massive increase in "domestic terrorism" in this country if say China had military bases all over our country?? If you think not, you're a nut. People don't like our military occupying their country no matter how bad or insane you might think their leaders are. YES there are a small minority of crazy extremist terrorist out there and we should do everything we can to prevent them from killing anyone. If you think all our military occupation over the world has to do with just that, well then you really are as stupid as the politicians and paid mouth pieces like Ann Culture think you are.

If Ron Paul is nuts then I don't want to be sane. He's literally the one and only politician at the Federal level (that I am aware of) who seems to have a degree of sanity, or at least morality, left.
Spending our kids and grandkids money--insane.

Having troops in 160+ countries worldwide, supporting totalitarian governments, inserting ourselves militarily into the affairs of other nations--insane.
Subsidizing tobacco farmers and sugar farmers--insane.
Supporting fiat money with never ending siphoning of value via inflation--insane.
At what point will people wake up and realize that the current situation is insane, has been insane for a long time, and is getting worse with each passing year? Ron Paul is just telling us that the Emperor has no clothes and yet uninformed people mock him for it. An honest 6th grader could figure it out as long as she took the time to gather some basic facts (which she won't find on NBC nightly news).

Last note...there are some corporations out there that are just sheer money-making machines with absolutely no moral compass. When we take the false notion that "freedom" means doing whatever you want despite the consequences and then falsely apply that to large corporations, we set ourselves up for disaster.
So far, I love Ron Paul's message to his fellow Congressional colleagues: you're crooked and some of us know you're crooked, and more and more of us are discovering this every day. How long do you think your charade can possibly last?
