Anyone who has been around IHateTheMedia.com for a while knows we enjoy having comments from people whose opinions run counter to ours. Only a very few people have ever been banned, and that was due to extremely rude or otherwise obnoxious behavior. Obnoxious commenters come in all flavors and we’d like to highlight one case we have now, and ask what you think we should do with the young boy. We assume he is a teenager, as his comments are so simple-minded.
You see, after the 140 inane comments he’s subjected us to, he’s come to realize that people have grown tired of him and so he has taken on three new identities, hoping we might pay attention to those new commenters, and also so he has someone else to talk to. Yes, he even talks to himself though his other personas. We realized that all were the same person when we wondered how we could get so many equally clueless people commenting in such a short period. Then we checked the IP addresses and sure enough they are all “Sam” from New York.
After posting more than a hundred comments, Sam has now created TexMex, SunSun and Janet. You can see three of them conversing on this post.
Our main purpose for this post is, of course, to embarrass little Sam. But secondarily, we’re wondering dear readers, what you think we should do with this kid? Ban him, hope he walks away in shame, or let him spew his junior high level comments longer?
Sam, you may make a defense for yourself here as well if you wish. Oh, and SunSun, TexMex and Janet, you all can chime in as well.

Oh no! Am I too late to chime in on Sam's fate?! I understand that posting a few hundred silly comments is, well, annoying. But let the wee little troll stay - they are so cute at that age!
But what the hell do I know. It's my first post here.
I saw reference to an "Oh Canada" thread. I think I can add to that discussion, since I resemble that remark. Even better, I live in that bastion of free-speech, Ottawa. Alas, not an alum of the U of Zero, but maybe in my next life.

Here's another for you, from John Taylor Gatto, author of "The Underground History of Education". I"ll paraphase, -don't confuse schooling with and education. That's exactly what you've done and what so many in higher education do. nothing more than indoctrination.

I vote for leaving Sam, et al (or does using scholarly abbreviation such as that betray what a conservative, uneducated simpleton I'm supposed to be?) He/she has inane arguments and will be easy to ignore.
As well, I believe that his/her darkness only accentuates the light of conservative principles.
This is totally random and unrelated, but I think it's funny that Chuck wants to leave Sam. If you watch the TV show "Chuck," you know what I mean.

Is that where all your education has brought you? To Lenin and Mao? Education doesn't much count for intelligence does it?
All you can learn from a teacher is what the teacher knows. All you can gain from life experiences is what you, for lack of better words, experience. Someone who is truly intelligent will not just base stuff on what they learn or what they experience, but use the two to discern what is right. A step up from that is reading history from a mostly unbiased source and THEN applying it to the discerning of experience and education.
Example: "In class, I learned that socialism is the perfect society, but based on life experience, I know that people are not perfect, so a perfect society cannot exist. Also based on what I know of history, socialism and it's brother communism do not work. They end in corruption, tyranny, and blood."
That is the difference education and intellect.
Hey, I heard there's a new thing going around on Facebook. I thought this topic was aimed toward this when I entered, but I was disappointed. To spur actual substance other than humiliation, I shall post this thoughtful Dr. Seuss-based poem.

On the topic of Health Care, did you know the bill has a clause or two dedicated to private schools? It states that a private school cannot give out student loans. They must be federal. That means that all private schools will have to change their curriculum to meet the requirements of the Federal government (which is ironic, as they were never supposed to be given the right to have any power over education, a state right). This is exactly what schools, such as Hillsdale - which I hope to attend, have been against. What will happen to these great schools? This worries me deeply.
This worries me deeply too. I am sick and disgusted that such policies were placed under the radar with the disguise of health care.
Sorry to chime in late, but you need to ban anyone that does not meet your parameters. All of idiotic left websites screen comments before they are posted, so you should do the same.

Thank you - the fun blew out of this one's sails on Thursday when the first snarky, predictable comments began to surface. Nothing original, no insight, and basic talking points do not create debate about issues, they just excite electrons. The minimal literacy skills remained across all of the "personas" so that was an easy find. His/her so called inquiries really boiled down to "I know you are, but what am I?"

You are an interesting person, Mr. Sam. You insist that we are of a lesser education or intelligence to you, yet you derive enjoyment from annoying people on a website that people come to for enjoyment, laughs, and to look at the funny shit that Libby Lib Liberals seem to do consistently.
Yes, we understand that Conservatives and Fox News do some of those things. That is what Media Matters does , they correct "Conservative Misinformation" as is their tag line. There is a reason that people come to this site instead of MMFA because they want to look at the greater Left wing bias of todays news media outlets as there are more of them than Conservative ones.

Just because someone is "educated" does not make them necessarily elite, which is what most of the Liberal intellectuals seem to think. Eric Hoffer was no Harvard educated person, however he(in my opinion) is an intellectual giant compared to Barack Obama. I personally would include Friedman and Hayek in that grouping as well.
