• this is the biggest shit-buffet I've seen in a long time. Homosexuals are NOT normal. Their unGodly acts will be visited upon them ere long. Homosexuality is NOT a lifestyle it's a waiting room for the lake of fire.
  How many innocent normal people will contract deadly homosexual disease because of this wickedness. If even one person gets afflicted by hiv via the crap fuckers, then sf needs to be burned with hail, fire, and brimstone. that's my opinion, and it's as valid (if not more so) than anyone's.

  "Antibody tests may give false negative (no antibodies were detected despite the presence of HIV) results during the window period, an interval of three weeks to six months between the time of HIV infection and the production of measurable antibodies to HIV seroconversion. During the window period, an infected person can transmit HIV to others although their HIV infection may not be detectable with an antibody test."

  To combat this, the FDA uses a multifaceted system to keep the blood supply safe, and the number one step in that system is donor screening - if you are living a dangerous lifestyle then you cannot donate blood. Simple as that. Anyone who has given blood has answered certain questions: multiple sex partners, IV drug use, male-to-male sex, travel to certain foreign countries, etc.

  • Even tattooing and other stuff that can taint the blood. It is very simple. It doesn't need to be a judgemental thing or a religious thing at all...

    • Every time I give blood, they ask me those same questions, and yes, they ask how recent my tattoos are.

      • I'm not sure what is to stop them from donating in the first place. The screening process is nothing more than an assumption that the donor tells the truth.

        • Absolutely true, MGAP. We had a blood drive at a recent event I went to, and I was all set to give, since I'm a frequent donor. But I got a new tattoo last winter, so I disqualified myself, even though I knew I wasn't infected with anything.

• Let the city "politburo" be the first to openly accept this wonderful gift of life! Then, when they all come down with HIV, or worse...AIDS; we can all write them sympathy cards with the same message: "I told you so!"

  • Yes. You can bet this blood will be carefully marked in order to ensure that no politicians or judges get it. It is too dangerous for them but not, of course, for the proletariat. Of course I would encourage all media types to specifically request blood from gays if they need it. Surely they wont be hypocrites too. /sarc

• If they make sure the donated blood from gay men only goes to gay men will they still like this idea? I think someone should call them on it.
