Scientific study says semi-nude pictures of women are good for men’s health. The images relieve stress and make our minds work better. We knew it! Who knows how many heart attacks IHTM will prevent today by posting the above photo? You’re welcome.

        • Check out the pic posted by Red Robster. You like the old styles from the 40's and 50's? You will like the picture, taken when women had class and knew how to dress.

          • Uhm... okay... but not sure if that pose would have been appropriate lol it is a cute pic though.

    • There ARE such websites, Pinocchio. I'm not a big fan, but if someone wanted to pay me to shoot pictures, I'd do my best.

  • Looking at pictures of nude and semi-nude women is good for your health, I can agree with that. TAKING said pictures is even more fun.

    • I figure that you have to be a professional regardless of the fun factor. I wouldn't take nude nor semi-nude pictures from a guy that I can tell is there for the "fun" and is a bit creepy about it.

      • KQ, are you saying you would pose semi-nude or even nekkid if I were a professional photographer?

        I'll send you a copy of my Professional Photographers Certificate, as soon as I find on on line and print it out. (teehee)

          • Yeah, it's ok to enjoy your work, and the model should enjoy her work too. But if you're the least bit creepy, the model is going to be uncomfortable, and the pictures will show it.

            I DO enjoy the work, but in a professional manner. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in the technical side of a shoot, lighting, angles, backgrounds, I'm almost startled when I look over and notice that there's a naked lady there.

          • That is what I am saying. I have no problem with a photographer enjoying the work and making the model feel comfortable with the fact that she is nude or whatever, but if you are creepy and are there just for the fun that is not a good thing for the model and I think some of them would probably bail if they don't think this is necessary for them to do.

            Is it safe to click on that? I don't want to see naked women.

          • No, I don't put pictures of naked women on FaceBook, Kimmy. One person turns in a complaint, and your page is gone. I don't have time for that.

          • I didn't mean just pics of nekkid women flash, I wanted to see what you do and I can't do it on Farcebook.

          • Yeah, I applied it with a brush. My biggest problem with it is that I can't touch up any bad spots, because anyplace that gets a second coat is going to be much darker than the rest. So, this winter, both horses get sanded down to bare wood, and refinished. It'll be a major chore, but I got to take care of these guys. They're my living.

            We're working on putting together a trip across the country for September 2014, from Sacramento to Vermont, with as many stops along the way as possible to do fundraisers and take people for rides at children's hospitals, VA hospitals, camps for the blind and special kids of all types. I'm compiling a list of places to contact, so if anyone knows of a charitable organization that's within an hour or two of I-80, or heading up through New York and Vermont, let me know at therockinghorseguy.com.

          • I like both products and use them. I found out the hard way the first time I used a Minwax PolyShade product, it doesn't work very well with a sprayer! I used it on a bedside table I was doing for myself, good thing, and it came out blotchy, like a tie-dye job.

          • The big unicorn, Vlad, is finished with one coat of Marine Spar Varnish, and Freya has one coat of a MinWax product called PolyShades, which has stain and poly in the same can.

            If all goes according to plan, we will spend four months this winter in Quartzite, AZ, dry camping on BLM land, so I can refinish both of the existing horses, (they get beat up bad working the events), and do some carving on the third one.

            Number three, known as Trey until further notice, is going to be about six inches taller than Vlad, but weigh less than half as much. He's made of Italian poplar plywood, and I'm going to go all out on the hollowing to keep him as light as possible. It'll make my job a lot easier. He's a Friesian.

          • She is great with the wood but that poor poodle is one ugle dog. (snicker)

            Anyway, I do a little woodworking myself but nothing on that scale. Mostly I refinish furniture or build things like coffee tables or chairs. What did you use for a finish on the steeds, it looks like lacquer or varnish?

          • Hand carved from the entire trunk of a plywood tree! I have to give credit where it is due, though. I did the design, construction, and rough carving, then got out of the way and let an artist finish the carving. My lovely exwife, http://pinkcoyote.net/

      BTW, do you need someone to hold your lights for these shoots? I can work REALLY cheap.

          • Wednesday's shoot was out in broad daylight, nothing but model, photographer, and camera. But I'm going to scout out a cemetery in Grass Valley where it looks as if I can shoot at night. Then I'l be dragging out my light stands, or recruiting a couple of VALS. Voice Activated Light Stands.

  • Simple logic. If a pictures of semi-nude women are good for mens health, it only stands to reason the pictures of totally-nude women would be even better. Works for me anyway.

  • Hell, at my age a picture of a good looking woman with all her clothes on is pretty exciting. A picture of a knock out with no clothes on may cause the heart attack the doctors are trying to prevent!

  • So science is probing the effect of sex arousal on men's health? That certainly bares study and I sure hope it uncovers the effects of it all.
