Americans like competence. And they prefer leaders who "man up" instead of trying to shift the blame.
The first time I read that I thought it said ladies instead of leaders, but since it's Hillary it works both ways. I'm detecting a trend here; Ray implies Obamuh-uh-uh couldn't carry Hilliary's brass, the NY Times wonders if The One is suffering from low testosterone, and Steyn compares his campaign tactics to pansy-boy stuff. What a great week so far for our shifty{I so wanted to steal that Amazon book's typo} President.

My boy, if Americans truly liked competence, shrill voiced mediocrities like Palin, Perry and Bachmann would be struggling to earn a living wage right now, instead of being treated like celebrities. If they preferred leaders who "man up," Bush would have been scorned right out of the White House, when he tried to turn the missing WMD into a third-rate comedy sketch, after so many of our best and brightest died fighting his fake war for him.
Hillary CLinton is popular with right wingers now, because (1) they know she doesn't intend to run for president again, and (2) they have some loony idea that it makes Obama look bad if they praise the woman he appointed Secretary of State. If she, rather than Obama, had won the DNC presidential nomination in 2008, they'd be treating her exactly as they did during her campaign----they'd be ridiculing her thighs, gleefully calling her "the ball breaker" and telling each other that's why her husband was unfaithful to her, screaming and crying about her liberal Senate record (which, by at least one political analyst's standards, was more liberal than that of Barack Obama).
Face it: you guys are a bunch of sheep, willing to be led in any direction, no matter how far fetched, if somehow you think it will make Obama look bad. What you need to do, instead of constantly trying to convince the world that Obama is no good, is find some candidates of your own that aren't complete morons, goofballs and flipfloppers. "Vote for my party because the other guy is a bum" has never yet been a very effective formula for winning an election. ;)

Lampooonia- The Dnc are the one's who decided to make ol hills out to be a screechin banshee - not the GOP The GOP just kinda sat back and let it happen....in hindsight, hills woulda made a much better president as at least she can think on her feet - I don't care for her and her politics all that much, but at least ya know where ya stand with the Clintons - both....This clown they got headin up the show right now is way out of his league.
