His supporters called him The Greatest President In History before he had even been inaugurated. Now the junior senator from Louisiana has revealed his slightly less complimentary nickname for Barack Obama: Joe Cool.
“My personal nickname for the president is Joe Cool,” David Vitter said. “But I don’t want Joe Cool, who’s always laid back and calm and collected in this crisis. I want a leader, I want somebody who’s passionate and absolutely grabs the reigns and takes the reins. The President is beginning to do that more, I’ve seen that ramp up a little bit with the last few visits to Louisiana, but we’re not still anywhere where we need to be in that regard.”
Don’t you worry, Senator Vitter. Our sources at the White House indicate that now that the Paul McCartney concert is out of the way, the President will show some real passion for your little oil spill, as soon as the NBA championships are over.
