White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs caught hell last week for stating that “the Professional Left is on drugs.”
Liberal Washington Post columnist (pardon our redundancy) Ruth Marcus saw Gibbs comment and raised him one by telling Chuck Todd and Savannah Guthrie that the left and the blogosphere are “deranged” because they just expect so much of President Obama. He’s only human, damn it, people!
Got that? It’s taken 19 months, but Obama has finally gone from Superman to “He’s only human.”
At the rate he’s going, in another 19 months they’ll be saying, “He’s only Kenyan!”
