Tea Party rally draws thousands to Indian River County (FL) fairgrounds

Tea Party rally draws thousands to Indian River County (FL) fairgrounds. Meanwhile, Sandra Fluke spoke in front of about 10 people in Reno, NV. But the waste-stream media will say it was 10 thousand. Make that eleventy thousand.

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Cured morbid fear of heights when I learned to look at them as lengths standing on end. Uncompromising in refusal to accept browser cookies. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

  • "the three principles of the tea party movement — fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government and free markets."

Mmm hmm, sounds sounds like some real dangerous radical wackos!

  • Sandra will soon have a job selling condoms on the road out of the back of 78 Datsun......She will be successful since she will offer free demos...see a college edumacation can help get you the career you always wanted.....

  • Appears Sandra's time has come and gone. Hopefully just like der leader. The TEA party has not gone any where. We must work to provide for our families and pay for all those that wish to have their stuff for free. Just like Ol Sandra wants her free birth control.

    LIES, ALL LIES!
The MSM has been telling me for months and months that the TEA party was all washed up. Therefore it is impossible for them to rally thousands of people.

After all, we ALL know the MSM would never lie to us, right?

    • No lie. My daughter informed me about 6 months ago that the TEA Party was nothing. That's what she hears from the garbage news that the 20-somethings listen to. She KNOWS both sides of the story because I tell (nag at) her constantly, but even so, she can't quite wrap her head around the fact that media (and the administration) is willing to bald-face LIE.

Luckily she challenges everything, and Googles it. I know when I am right because she never says anything, lol. Last night I told her that the Lincoln movie was being released after the election, since Lincoln was a Republican, and Spielberg didn't want anyone to make the connection that "Republican - slave-freers". That could confuse black voters, right? I heard the tap tap tap on her laptop, and then silence. I was vindicated! LOL

      • I know how you feel Karmaa. We had to teach our kids and now they are trying to teach the grandkids. It isn't easy trying to tell them that the utopia liberals always promise is an impossible dream.

  • Sorry, this is a off-topic, but.... this Sandra Fluke... does she REALLY need contraceptives? I mean, does she really?

I'm still quite flabbergasted about this. It is just ludicrous that there is such a big uproar here when there are other, much more legitimate issues regarding non-covered health expenses... like hearing aids!

BTW, maybe I'm wrong here, but aren't birth-control pills covered in the same way that, say, meds for blood pressure or cholesterol?

  • There's a landslide on the horizon. They can under report it, but it's coming. They appear to have given up on dickboy and are now telling us the battle for the Senate will be uphill. Uphill for them to hold it, bye bye harry reid you ignorant white trash POS.

      • unbalanced describes exactly the lib scrbblers.
“I have said this over and over in every talk I have given; whether you agree with them or not, you have to respect their organizing skills."

that from zernike, and she's only saying this because (i'm thinking) she expects conservatives to concede that bagorocks organizing skills demand the same respect. pfft, the mafia dons have gr8 organizing skills too, hoffa's still missing.

    • This is a time I'm happy to say, "I told you so," to so many folks. The people from back east I work with have been so dismissive, about Obama being unbeatable. Meanwhile, down here in Texas I've been (still am a little) PO'ed that we couldn't find a rock ribbed Tea Party candidate to run against a clown I've always said could be beaten this round by pretty much anyone.

      • Just keep looking for your rock ribbed Tea Party candidate 'cause I know he or she is there somewhere!
