Obama fails on all counts. The numbers say that voters don’t think he deserves reelection, he has no meaningful accomplishments, and the nation is headed off in the wrong direction under his watch. Ogrumbler knows his presidency is taking on water faster than Mochelle gobbles french fries, hence the constant whines of “raaaaacism” from his sycophantic proxies and the scorched-earth OWS strategy. If these fail, look for a Hail Mary attempt at a game changer. A word to the wise: nothing is beneath this desperate, power-hungry clown.

Has anybody noticed this article said "the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee says Obama, with help from congressional Democrats, has five accomplishments: created private sector jobs, reduced debt, kept taxes low, passed a healthcare plan and reformed Wall Street"

that's ok with me. when the time comes for me to preserve my individual rights i can almost guarantee that i will not go down alone, I'm so grateful for the knowledge i gained in the army.

Most of my liberal friends won't even carry on a conversation about politics with me anymore... they're too embarassed. But there are those die hard libs who see him as the most wonderful successful president in the whole wide galaxy who farts rose scented rainbows.

I've run into this sort of statement before and it is completely laughable, since the only thing conservative about the putz is his suit.
fair enough.. but i think you may underestimate how complex the liberal ecosystem really is, or how easily they fall upon each other for the most ridiculous policy minutiae
But at its core, the complaints center around:
- Too cozy with Wall Street & financialists
- won't institute "financial tax" like we used to have until 1960's
- hasn't closed Gitmo
- Didn't immediately withdraw all troops from Iraq & Afghanistan
- Massively stepped up drone attacks & airstrikes, including targeting of American citizens (yeah, fuck that guy)
- Not quick enough eliminating Don't Ask Don't Tell
- Won't fight for Carbon Tax
- Won't support Marijuana legalization
- Approves new oil drilling & pipelines
- Expanded gun rights
- Never seen hugging a tree or hitting a bongo drum.. conversely, never seen punching a hippy either

A few of those examples are pretty derned humorous. Expanded gun rights? approved oil drilling? Sure for Mexico, Brazil and Cuba maybe. Aside from the other broken campaign promises these stick out. I remember hearing a few reports that had concluded he would legalize weed. Anybody that believed that should buy a bridge from him. He has plenty for sale.
The bezel on the compass of politics having been seriously skewed to the left since GHWB, there is a perception that 'conservatism' is now basically a far right wing radical ideology and that president solyndra gunwalker is in fact a center-right figure! Yes, gun rights have expanded in many ways since Obama's hostile takeover of the White House. But they were all STATE law, not Federal. More states go shall-issue every year. I just wish California wasn't going to be the last one to be able to read statistics and go shall-issue.
Contrary to what yall might think, my more liberal co-workers are not complete morons.. some of us have even gone range shooting together on company/team-building excursions
but the salient point here was federal statute signed by Obama which allows possession of firearms in National Parks. I personally know a guy who brought his handgun, while camping, for BEARS, which is comical (i swear i mentioned this here before). Couple this with the fact that I can't find any news on federal restriction of gun rights makes it a difficult point to debate
Correct, the president had nothing to do with any expansion of rights of the people, gun or otherwise. At the state level several things did happen. The elections provided a huge move to the right at state level. A lot of that goes unnoticed. The national carry reciprocity legislation is getting hammered by the left.

On the other hand, El Presidente is doing an excellent job of making sure the chair he's sitting on at any given time continues to obey the Law of Gravity, and he's nice to his dog, so I'm sure Progressives are correct in their assessment that he'll be re-elected handily. Or that he'll carry DC and Illinois, at least.
