If you like your Irony, you can keep your Irony.....
There was this 27 year old chick on The Kelly File tonight. She gave a sob story about how she got the bronze plan with the $5800 deductible, as she felt healthy. She was then diagnosed with a thyroid disorder, but couldn't afford the $500 ultrasound OR the specialist, as he wasn't on her plan. Therefore she'd have to pay for him OUTSIDE of her $5800 deductible. So she switched to the silver for $475/month and $2300 deductible, but she STILL can't afford the ultrasound or her doctor. I felt sorry for her.... Until she said she voted for Obama. Then I laughed at her. When Kelly asked what she thought of Harry Reid's claims that all the OCare sob stories are lies.... She made it sound like she believed all the OTHER ones were lies, but hers was true.
Stupid bitches like that are getting what they deserve. They voted for this POS, thinking he was going to give them free healthcare, and now they are surprised and experiencing sticker shock. They don't realize nothing is free, even the VA healthcare system. If you make over a certain amount of money, you can't even qualify to get on VA. If you get on and later make over a certain amount, you have to pay.
This is a benefit that you earned by accepting lower than minimum wage pay, while risking your life, and giving up your freedom to live where and how you like, all because you have a feeling of responsibility, honor, and patriotism, and are willing to give up all this because you love your country and want to serve. You then later risk ridicule and insults from leftists because you use the benefits you earned, because you complain about the lazy and freeloaders, who are getting what you earned, and even better than what you get, and it's all free for them.
At least I can sleep well at night, and it's not because I'm so clueless that I don't get it.
A few things...
1. People who supported the idea of Obamacare are basically those who..
A- thought they would get something for nothing or at a lower cost
B- thought they had an escape hatch & could sidestep the system
...they all deserve what they will get, but it sucks that they dragged us all under with them.
2. There is no irony, since liberalism/progressivism always generates the opposite of it's stated intent. If you know this, this was all too predictable.
