• My take on this dude has always been that he is a campaigner - he loves the crowds, the music - the rock star status, flying around the country and visiting all 57 of those states - walking out on the stage with thousands of adoring fans... Colin Hay put out a song called "My Brilliant Feat" I think it really applies to Obama. Once he won and all the hoopla came to an end, he had no idea of what to do. He needs crowds, he needs adoration he is nothing without them.

  • Colin Hay is great. Saw him live at a little club here in town a couple years ago. He told a very funny story about selling out stadiums when Men At Work was hot and then playing in an empty small town pub in Australia two years later.

    In the words of Jerry Reed, another singer, "When you're hot, you're hot. When you're not, you're not."

  • Absolutely. Perhaps that is why he is the best patsy or tool in the hands of whomever. He is hiding a lot of things inside of him. We may never know what is going on, maybe perhaps one day. In the end, perhaps it is not so important, as to how to prevent him from staying President.

• The thing with Obama is that he has no personality other than what was given him by the media and his bosses. The man to this day is a mystery still. That is to say, we know that he hates this country and perhaps the reasons why, but there is a lot about him that isj ust up in the air and strange. He is afreak.

  • KQ, I think Obama has a stage managed personality that has been carefully crafted to give him the best possible public image. But he is only a mystery to those who did'nt listen to those who really looked into his backround, which was most of Americans. I knew because I listened to people like Sean Hannity, or Quinn & Rose, who really dug into where Obama came from, who shaped him, who he hung out with, & who were/are his political mentors. If you knew these things, & you did KQ, what you have seen since he was elected came as no suprise. I also believe Obama is more of a Chicago street thug, but the 1st Lady seems to be a freak.

    • I am not talking about that per se... I don't know how to explain it. I mean yes I knew that he was bad and all of that and I am not surprised at the result... but I feel that he is playing a part even the part of destroyer of our country. Again do not know how to explain it, I just think that there is something in him that he is keeping really well hidden and it is that what I am referring to, and I just don't know what that is.

      • I do get what you are trying to say, at least I think so. The way I look at it is this, Obama is a frontman for everything you are seeing. He did'nt write the music, but he believes in the songs. That's how I've viewed what I'm seeing, & Glenn Beck's question about who is on the other end of his BlackBerry might be the answer. ! of them at least.

        • Yes that is the mystery overall that I am talking about what drives him beyond what we can actually see (or I guess who)?

        • FWIW, I see a very angry man who was selected and groomed by the powers that control him. He is playing a role and it is his anger that I believe serves as his motivation. Anger at being abandoned by both parents and a deep seated feeling of worthlessness because he has earned none of what he has.

        • Uhm that is good analysis there SK. We can all agree that there is something wrong with Obama. I guess my point is that we may not know how deep his anger or his problems go until he goes ape crazy one day and drops the facade.

        • Kimmy-you're right on point. I've questioned with the same reasoning. This dude didn't get where he is without a helluva lot of backing. He's not a genius. He's proven that. But somewhere somebody thought he would be the perfect anoited one. I think he's starting to realize that but don't let that fool ya. The nation has been fooled enough.

        • All in all he either believes his own hype or he is upset because he knows his hype is whack.

        • Yes his arrogance will be in my opinion one of those things about him that will be legend. I am sure that after he leaves he will not ask what was wrong with him, but he will ask what was wrong with us that we did not acquiesce to his visions.

        • That goes back to what I said in my earlier post. He does believe his own hype and he is upset that there are those who are not buying into it. He has tremendous selfworth and simply cannot understand how anyone else would think that he isn't all that and a bag of chips.

          I have to disagree with this part of your post. If that were true, then he wouldn't have that over bloated ego, that sense of arrogance and that overall nacissistic tone. No, this is a person who has been groomed to be the way he is for a very long time. He believes he is above everyone else or so it seems by his manner of speaking and body language. I believe he has been coddled for much of his life, and that may be why he seems to have such a difficult time with criticism.

        • IMO, that is an act. I believe he feels unworthy and overcompensates. I could be way off, just a feeling.

        • I have to agree with SK. Sometimes arrogant people whose actions and "fruits" prove that there is NOTHING for him or her to be arrogant about, are indeed overcompensating and act as more than they really are. However he has been groomed FOR A LONG TIME indeed. It is very odd too, people claim that there is no way that "they" could have known he was to be President and hence why it is impossible "they" (parents, whatever) had to hide his place of birth, but the truth of the matter is that this man came out of nowhere, there were serious backers that made sure he won... again there is SOMETHING that is just very very wrong with him and I am not sure when we will know.

        • Well if all of this mess is heralding the 2nd Advent, even though it hurts, then it is for the best.

        • Well Kimmy, if he keeps up the "messiah" rhetoric, or keeps spinning the bible in his favor, or starts preforming miracles then we shouldnt be surprised when our ticket out of here comes to the sound of trumpits.

          All in all he is atleast suspicious.
