The Bowling Green Daily News has the details:
Two Iraqi refugees living in Bowling Green were arraigned today on federal terrorism charges – including accusations of attempting to kill U.S. troops with explosive devices in Iraq. Waad Ramadan Alwan, 30, and Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, 23, are charged in a 23-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Bowling Green on May 26. The men made their initial federal court appearance today in Louisville.
Alwan is accused of conspiring to kill U.S. nationals overseas, conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction against U.S. nationals overseas, distributing information on how to manufacture and use improvised explosive devices, attempting to provide material support to terrorists and to al-Qaida in Iraq and conspiring to transfer, possess and export Stinger missiles.
Hammadi is charged with attempting to provide material support to terrorists and to al-Qaida in Iraq, as well as conspiracy to transfer, possess and export Stinger missiles.
What the hell are these clowns doing in the United States in the first place?

This absolutely blows my mind. I am a United States Marine deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Bowling Green is my hometown, where I went to high school, my Goddaughter and best friends are at. Here's the proof that nowhere is as safe as you say it is.
According to The Daily Mail (UK):
"The two men entered the United States in 2009 after receiving refugee status. They were arrested last week in their current hometown of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and if convicted, could face life in prison, U.S. prosecutors said."
Oh, and get a load of this:
"Alwan, 30, is thought to have been a sniper and bomb maker for insurgents in Iraq after the 2003 invasion before he fled to the U.S six years later. His fingerprints were found on an unexploded roadside bomb in Iraq, but he was still allowed into the U.S. because a Homeland Security screening procedure did not check Department of Defence records. "

P M is so right about all of this. Further more Fort Campbell is not far from Bowling Green. This just happens to be the home to the 101st and Special Forces. Some where with in HLS the ball got dropped in a very big way and big sis needs to be answering question up on the hill. Senators McConnell and Paul need to have her standing in front of them and just raking her ignorant ass over the coals for this one.
It's time for a "special flight" to Gitmo and introduce them to is fine hospitality. They are saboteurs and even the Ultra Liberal Franklin Roosevelt knew what to do with them.

We don't know when these guys got into the country - that is, whether it was during the Obama administration or the Bush administration. Either way, it should be looked into. The whole "refugee" concept is corrupt. We assume these guys are like rats - if you see one of them, there are 100 of them you don't see.
Bowling Green is just right down the road from Lexington, KY. The political ideology in Lexington is akin to the political ideology in San Francisco. Not kidding either.
