Headline of the Day “U.N. wary of second wave of flu”

Second wave? What’s we’ve had so far is more of a ripple than a wave. Maybe it was a bad translation and the headline really said, “U.N. wary of second ripple of flu.”

  • Who said we would have at least three waves.. ? darn.. Wes was that you? I am still learning names here; someone said 3 waves. And you are correct to call it a ripple this time, but viruses don't just go away. They change, act opportunistically and generally make asses of themselves. (sorry if I offend.) I wonder, now that summer in the Northern Hemisphere is beginning, if the virus also went south - as in America, remember, Mexico ? Middle America? Between continents? Will it show up in South America during their 'winter'?
What I would expect is that we will be seeing this virus, again, next winter. It will bounce back with a few mutations and get even nastier.
