If Hosni Mubarak has moved this decisively, this quickly, this ruthlessly, he’d still be running the show in Egypt. Of course, ol’ Hosni was an amateur autocrat compared to our Secretary of State.
The Sky Valley Chronicle highlights Hillary’s hypocrisy:
As Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave a speech at George Washington University yesterday condemning governments that arrest protestors and do not allow free expression – and lauding freedom of speech on the Internet – 71-year-old military veteran Ray McGovern was grabbed from the audience in plain view of her by police and an unidentified official in plain clothes and hustled out of the building and, according to McGovern and his supporters, was “brutalized and left bleeding in jail.”
What McGovern did was simply remain standing silently in the audience and turned his back on her as Secretary Clinton began her speech…
According to Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, attorney with the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund, “For this peaceful expression of dissent, he ended up bruised, bloodied, arrested, and jailed. Secretary Clinton never paused, continuing her speech lecturing other countries about the need to allow freedom of expression and dissent, while Mr. McGovern was hauled out in front of her.”
McGovern was later found to have his arm covered with bruises. The metal handcuffs were fastened so tightly that his wrists were cut and some blood flowed from the cuts.
After being held by local police, McGovern was told he was being charged with disorderly conduct.
Just based on the name of McGovern’s group, the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund, we assume he’s a wacko liberal, but we have to come to his defense.
How does silently turning your back on a public official qualify as disorderly conduct?

and most of the usa public, don't think we have a 'chance' of having anything like the ''libyan gov. atrocities'', happening here (to usa citizens) - so, think 'kent state', 'waco', ruby ridge, etc. and those were 'before' we lost more of our freedoms - after 911. As for the security or (secret) police....the Stasi comes to mind.
All Hillary had to do was to ask the security guys to unhand the protester. Let him silently protest while she speaks. She could have used this guy as the American example and she would have been lauded by the press for the next two weeks.

What would have made this episode truly beautiful and poignant was if the audience at large would have bum's rushed the security goon that initially accosted McGovern as it was happening in protest of his rights being trampled...

Hillary is one flat out scary, power seeking, corrupt, manipulating individual that is politically a player that will sacrifice anything and anyone to meet the agenda they have for America and indeed the world.
M-1 I totally agree, but in the bigger scheme of things all these powerful people, with all of their manipulations and corruption, are still creatures created from nothing and headed towards nothing save eternal regret and despair, unless of course they decide to take their collectivist heads out of their collectivist butts! Hillary is indeed as you say, but she has no guarantee to tomorrow and much the sadder that she dies and is lost forever in Hell, but should she let God form her will she might have everlasting life! For some people the strings attached to this free gift are too binding even though the strings attaching them to their own wills bind them to slavery. I don't know about you, but I'd rather be free within God's generous parameters than a slave within my own!
