Vote the bums out. That’s the clear message being sent by most American voters. And they’re looking straight at congress when they say it.
Rasmussen tells the terrifying tale for incumbents:
Most voters think the country would be better off if the majority of the current Congress wasn’t reelected this November, and their confidence in their own congressman continues to fall.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 63% of likely voters believe, generally speaking, that it would be better for the country if most incumbents in Congress were defeated this November.
Just 19% disagree and say it would be better if most congressional incumbents were reelected. Another 18% aren’t sure.The Political Class strongly rejects these views, however. While 78% of Mainstream voters say it would be better for the country if most of the current Congress was turned out of office, 89% of the Political Class think it would be better if most were reelected.
Political class. Two words that are increasing contradictory.

Well... I cannot appreciate who YOU really are: just another angry black man, who doesn't like to be told off by a woman, nor likes to be told that he COULD be wrong nor to see things from another point of view.
It is sad, but something I have found to be typical among black men in this country, hence the reason why I am open to men who come from other cultures.
"I left my nice, hopeful forgiveness on the 35th floor." Understandable and akin to a lot of people who come through difficult circumstances like the Jews after WWII. I personally don't disagree that the world is evil in fact I know it is. I do live in the world of reality and I am well aware of it. People who are evil and go to their deaths without an iota of remorse for their deeds will get their punishment which is well deserved and even them, although they may not like it, will admit that they deserve every single thing coming their way. If they do not get right punishment then G-d is not just and among everything else that He is, He is most certainly just.
Hitler went to his death defiant, non-repentant and cowardly, it is VERY doubtful he is going to heaven. I will say impossible. I don't know about Nixon, first of all I wasn't around when he was President, second I am not that well versed on his issues that lead to his resignation and third of all unlike Hitler I don't know what his moments/months/years before his death were like. OJ if he continues unrepentant, he is going to get a ticket to damnation and Sept 11th? The hijackers and Osama Bin Laden et al? They will go the OJ route as well if they end up the same way as Hitler.
I believe in a G-d that can forgive disgusting, sinful, people if they truly repent. It gives me hope, because I KNOW I am not a saint, and although NO WHERE near as low as people like OJ or OBL (nor do I want to be anyway like them at all), if G-d can forgive them (if they sincerely want it), then He can forgive me. However Hitler, it is a DOCUMENTED fact, he didn't go to his death unrepentant at all. As far as it goes OBL and his ilk, Manson and OJ are still on the road to Hell. Nixon I have no idea what happened to that guy before he died. I choose to believe this, and everyone else can make their own belief system as they want to. I as an American have a right to voice my opinions.
Like I said, I don't know what Murtha's nor Ted Kennedy last moments were like. There is no one to tell us if they went to their deaths completely unrepentant and defiant. Because of this lack of knowledge (unlike Hitler) I am unable to make the call that they are burning in Hell. I don't have the moral authority to make that call of their final destinations, nor the absolute knowledge of all things that went through these guys minds nor hearts. BECAUSE OF THAT I felt it was a bit harsh FULLY ACKNOWLEDGING that if that is what people want to do, then people should do it, I just cannot. If it comes out that TK died as he lived (and Murtha) then of course they are getting what they deserve.

No, death doesn't exonerates anyone for anything. Who is hero worshiping? Certainly not I. I don't even think the gentleman David was doing so either.
I found it harsh because I am no one to judge if he is Hell or not. If some people want to go that route and designate final destinations to other people who have died, then that is of course their prerogative (and freedom of speech), but it is my humble opinion; that is best left up to the Maker and G-d of the Universe who has the time, the knowledge and the justice on His side to make these types of decisions.
We don't know what Murtha's last moments were like, if he sincerely repented of all the evil he has done, who is to say that he isn't in a better place? Good for him if he in a better place, got there barely, but good for him if he did. It gives me hope and I am sure for a lot of people whose lives are, well, considerably less than stellar.
I find no pleasure in increasing the population of Hell. I humbly suspect the G-d that I believe in, finds no pleasure in that either. If he didn't repent and felt all the evil he has done was A-OK then that is another story and he will indeed get the justice that he so rightfully deserves, but seeing how I am not G-d I cannot make the final determination (nor wish to) and I say the same for Ted Kennedy.
Ted Kennedy: Despicable character? ABSOLUTELY there is no question, there is no discussion. Only an idiot would argue against that and put him on a pedestal. Is he in Hell? How the heck do I know? If he didn't think bedding women and being gross and disgusting during his life was not bad then he is going to get what he is going to get and good. I don't know what was in his heart especially as he laid dying. Maybe he repented...? One can hope he and Murtha and everyone else of that ilk found the right mind even if it was a the last moment of their lives.
This is me being nice and hopeful as again I know that these men during most to all of their lifetimes (perhaps) were not good examples of what a human being should be like.

As far as this poll situation, don't you think they knew this? Why do you think a lot of these 20 + years congress people are out of a sudden "retiring"? They knew the writing was on the wall the moment they gave their souls to Obama and got notification from voters that they will very displeased.
The President Obama's select Budget Committee headed by Sen. Kent Conrad sees the world from inside the Beltway. The committee, in the beginning, should take responsibility on behalf of the government for getting us into debt in the first place.
Our government borrowed from other governments to finance wars in the Middle East and special interest projects. The Government also borrowed against the Social Security and Medicare Trust Funds for years. Money which is now needed for the retiring. The Government failed to control Wall Street with agencies and laws already on the books. The Government fails to collect 25% of the taxes owed us. The Government pushed for decades, the popular concept, that everyone should own their own homes.
The Government tells us not to look back or to lay blame. Understandable since the Government is culpable for the mess we are in. Blame is necessary to prevent the same kind of mistakes in the future. Incumbent politicians must be removed as punishment. History will judge them guilty for their mismanagement.
Who stole and spent $656 BILLION from the Social Security Trust fund in 1997? The GOV‘T. Why do they need a Gov't controlled HC Entitlement to rob? To cover up this Gov't theft. That’s why is SS in trouble?
Kinda classless to put up the comment and pic of John Murtha. That is something I would expect to see on Daily Kos. He was not a good guy but he is gone - move on, with class.
David, must be from PA. Murtha was a corrupt crook and under investigation for selling his soul to defense spending contractors that helped line his re-election pockets, and members of his family.
