Michelle Obama likes pie. Especially your pie. Doesn’t matter how hard you worked to get your pie, she wants it. In fact, she thinks it would be a really good idea if everyone had a piece of your pie.
Here’s what the First Lady said on the campaign trail on April 8, 2008.
“The truth is most Americans don’t want much. Folks don’t want the whole pie. Most Americans feel blessed to thrive a little bit. But that’s out of reach for them. The truth is, in order to get things like universal healthcare and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more.”
That someone, of course, does not include Michelle nor her brood. No, they’ll be grabbing pieces of everyone’s pies during their upcoming vacation at a plush Martha’s Vineyard estate. No one’s quite sure what this little getaway will cost the taxpayers, but similar properties in the area go for as much as $50,000 per week.
We don’t begrudge the Obamas their chance to live the lifestyle of the rich and famous.
We just wish they’d keep their hands off our pie.

She is a stupid woman. She wears a pair of shoes that cost 550.00 to feed the hungry. She wears a dress that cost several thousand dollars. People that supports this communist idea are free - loaders. They want your pie that you worked for,while they sit on their ass. I grew up very poor. It made me want to work and educate myself to better my life. I never felt like I deserved what the other person had, just because they had more, or because I wanted it. I have never wanted a hand out from anyone. My home, material possesions, I am thankful I have them- I am proud of my accomplishments because I worked for them. I am thankful that their are rich people that has a business that gives jobs to people. I never knew that America had so many ignorant people, that does not appreciate the meaning of freedom.
I am so sick of people not understanding the roots of our government and their naive confidence in our current government.......Everything that lead us to being the powerhouse of the world was our stand on limited government(low taxes) and our ability to organize at the local level, without government intrusions. Currently our system of printing money out of thin air, inflation, high taxation, and nation building in order to re-inflate a bubble that funds a bureaucracy that destroys capital interests and competition within the free market. It's a system disturbingly similar to the tyrannical, world governance of the European Union. It gives absolute power to the elite, who enforce their doctrine into democratic systems of government via lobbyists and bribery.....IT creates a "shadow government" that works outside the laws and outside mainstream media(which they own and control) away from the public eye. The media portrays a left/right debate out of everything, scapegoating whichever party isn't in control.....This type of debate never confronts the fundamental problems that are destroying America............ I could go on and on and on about how freedom works and governments that goes beyond the means of only protecting life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, destroys. Tinat............ You don't understand the point of the article?!?!?!? Do you understand anything at all?!?! This country was founded on encouraging prosperity not punishing it. The rhetoric of michelle and barack reeks of socialism. You know, forcefully taking from the prosperous to help out the less fortunate. This type of thinking leads us to an overwhelmingly huge government filled with bureaucratic distress that loots, complicates, inflates, and burdens any entrepreneural assets, desires, and freedoms. AND BUSH WAS NEARLY JUST AS BAD!!!!!! Stop treating barack like a god. Government is FORCE not REASON. We must be cynical of government and trust in freedom.
