These Westboro idiots came to hudsonville Michigan to protest at the funeral of a solder, it didn't work out very well for them.
The Michigan chapter of Rolling Thunder motorcycle club said NO very clearly.Lots of people from the surrounding area came to make sure the Westboro animals failed.
You realize, of course, that Westboro is setting themselves up for a fatwa and calls for Phelps' head - literally.

He knows what he's doing. He wants to be a martyr. Being a prick hasn't worked out all that well for him these days, and his fellow religious zealots make for poor company. They have to be lacking in the new recruit department -- he'd probably have better popularity selling AIDs and cancer.

These people are crazy and they are not doing real Christians any favors with their actions.
I don't think they're doing anybody any favors, Kimmy. The difference here is that you real Christians denounce these guys, and they haven't even cut off anybody's heads. Islam won't denounce their extremists.

I think they are far more likley to find common ground and form an understanding of coexistience on the grounds that :
A) God hates f*gs
B) America is satan
C) Its enjoyable to watch non-believers die.
The Phelps crowd and Islam have something else in common. Anybody with a brain detests them. I think Phelps should convert to Islam. I wonder what his new name would be?
