We all know how scripted BHO's press conferences are.
IMO, the question was planted, and BHO knew in advance. His response was one of trying to re-energize his base. Kinda backfired, though.
The whole Gates-Crowley-Obama incident is a perfect set-up for the media to start acknowledging the one racism that is rampant and yet everybody pretends it doesnt exist, and that is BLACK RACISM, i.e. whitey is a racist until proven otherwise and even then he is still a racist 'cause he's white.
When will somebody, anybody, say something? When will white people speak up and fight back against the prevalence of ignorant, paranoid, black racism?
If people truly want a public discourse about racism in America then blacks need to acknowledge that they are some of the worst perpetrators of racist beliefs, not just white people.
Until that happens, America will always be divided into white and black camps, with asians and hispanics observing and taking sides.
What didn't the president know? He doesn't know much of anything, being a puppet and all.
I'm afraid if we are looking to indict the president based on what he knows we are bound to be sorely disappointed.
