Twelve reasons awarding soccer’s World Cup 2022 to Qatar was a tragic, horrible mistake

We don’t know soccer from cricket. Give us baseball and good ol’ American football.

That being said, there are some things we love about the World Cup – the fans. Especially the female fans. And we just can’t imagine that Qatar, a strict Muslim country, is going to allow the enthusiastic displays of fan support that make the World Cup worth watching.

Like these.

  • If the fools at the organizing agency actually do allow Qatar to host the games, then we will see how much Qatar, and other Arab nations, can tolerate western customs. Personally, I would expect that there would be NO cheerleaders at all, since cheerleading in a burqua doesn't work very well.

For me, if there are no cheerleaders, there's no sense in watching the game, since all that is left is a bunch of grown men playing with their balls.

  • reading all the above comments i came to know that people r more interested in naked women rather than football.
don't b so frastrated man that u will b unable to watch football matches without naked women..........
if Qatr can provide gud playing conditions(environment) then qatar must host 2022 football world cup..

  • I will believe about Qatar not caring about female fans being naked when I actually see it. We will see...

"you should respect other people’s cultures just like we respects yours."

Are you being serious? If you are... if I research Qatar programming especially the news I will see respect for the American culture right?

  • We have no problem about the female fans, they can be naked all they want no one cares less.
Reply to YT, if football isn't in your interest then no one is forcing you to show up in Qatar and watch "respectful women" wearing black Abaya is the name you were referring to not ninja's, and I am not here to cause a fight, you should respect other people's cultures just like we respects yours.

  • Im just gonna say that its pathetic how you guys care about "breasts" more than the actual football game, if thats what you want I think that you have enough strip clubs around the country, and I just want to make one thing clear the air conditioned stadiums were tested and approved by the FIFA team themselves, Qatar wouldn't do something lame and useless unless it actually WORKS. + it wouldn't be hilarious if no one showed up for the football games, that wouldn't reflect anything about Qatar but it would reflect to the players, since that would just show how fans don't really care about the game but the "female fans".

    • Men chasing a ball around would only be more interesting than breasts to people that dress their women like fat ninjas.

    • As a straight female I could care less about other women asses or breasts, however if they want to look hot (although admittingly in some cases a bit whorey) who am I to stop it nor why should I be mad? That is their prerogative. It is what it is...

If STRAIGHT men like to see women asses and breasts... I mean really why are you mad? They are straight men! Hello!

I really dislike fake disinterest in the female form by men who claim to be straight unless you are a female and I really distrust women who dislike hot women just because they are hot and are able to wear hot things in the open.

And why are you mad that American straight men who probably never have played the sport be mostly interested in the hot women than the sport?

I could care less about American football, but I am not going to turn at the sight of some of them players... uhm... uhm... nice (will all due respect to their respect wives, fiancees and significant others).

I cannot stand baseball is such a boring sport but I aint gonna lie some of those players are nice to look at too...

    • Welcome Qatari. We get people pretending to be from various places so I checked your IP address and sure enough you are from Qatar. I hope you stick around, perhaps some of our readers could have some exchanges with you.

  • What will be even more interesting is if by some miracle, the Israeli National Team makes it through the qualifiers and gets into the tournament. What will Qatar do then? Will they ban "da Joos" from their soil? What about FIFA? How will they react? Will we see at last the utter hypocrisy and anti-semitism of these ashhats on display for the world to see?Go Israel!!---->World Cup 2022!!

    • Interesting conundrum...

Israel has a national soccer team?

      ha...

      didn't know that.

it seems odd unless they are not actual kosher or practicing jews because games will happen during the weekend.

      • In soccer terms, Israel is a European nation. This is because their neighbors will not play them, so when they attempt to qualify for the World Cup or in club compitition, they are in UEFA. The arab states won't play them, so they don't play in the Asian Region. They got some decent players, but they are too small of a nation to make much of an impact in the world game.

        • Thank you for the information... I dont see Israel ever playing in a World Cup. Unless they get to host the games themselves and I dont see that happening either... but it is a closer possibility.

    • In the end of the day, I don't think Qatar will host the 2022 World Cup. Why too many thing don't make sense about their bid, & while money ain't the issue, everything else is. Building 10 stadiums where you can control the temp(meaning air conditioned domes)because the regualr temps during World Cup time is around 110*-120* in a nation the size of Vermont does'nt make sense. The trouble they will have with islamic laws will be another. You see pictures of women like the ones above in this story at every World Cup, so that will test islamic tollerence, & so will all the the beer drinkers that will invade from the USA, Germany, England, & other beer swilling nations that will most likely qualify for the event. I just see FIFA having to move the event because too many things can & will go wrong.

  • Sadly, Muslim money beat out European/American ta-tas. Somehow, burqa clad Aarabian chicks can't make up the loss.

  • I may have to give up my Talladega tickets for the world cups. I never knew thats the kind of cups they meant.

    • Picture six has only one subject - ok, technically 2 but anyway - I think you meant the fifth one with the 6 blonds in the abbreviated white tops, correct? I'm moving there too, when I figure out where they are...

Example with the Portugal banner (pic #9) is indeed a beauty! Number 10 has a specific look I cannot resist and have had nothing but trouble with my entire life.

Yes, 6 blondes, all in a row.

  • Wait. What the heck?! I always thought the world cup was some game played with a ball of some sort. I didn't know it was a world "D" cup contest or I wouldn't have missed a single one.
